Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Deborah Webster6 contributionsCoumeenoole beach is extraordinarily beautiful. A photographer's paradise. As you drive towards it along the cliff tops the views are spectacular. Even though the cliffs are huge and magnificent, the walk down from the cliff top carpark is fine and easily manageable.
There's no swimming on this beach due to dangerous currents, but when we were there, there were lots of people having loads of fun in the shallow waves.
The sand is golden and perfect for digging.
As you leave the beach there's a little waterfall which is ideal for washing the sand off your feet. The second time we were there, some children had damned the stream coming from it to make a lovely little pool to play in.
On the clifftop there's a couple of cafés with fantastic views of the stunning scenery.Written 23 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our guide, Alicia, was very friendly and fun to spend the day with. The horses were exceptional to ride and were very healthy and well cared for. The stables were beautiful. We highly recommend Dingle Horse Riding.Written 17 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- pkofarrellCounty Cork, Ireland33 contributionsAmazing location which includes a gem of a cafe with wonderful views of the Blasket Islands. The exhibition is very thoughtfully put together with excellent presentation, photos & audio/ film. I was very moved by the exhibition with the information on the lives of the islandersWritten 15 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tau136Batavia, IL20 contributionsIf you just want a quick ride on a boat, this is a great way to see the harbor and to go out into Dingle Bay briefly. There was plenty of space on our early afternoon tour.Written 3 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Caitriona H1 contributionWe hired 4 electric bikes to explore the wonderful Slea Head coastline. Our wonderful day began with a briefing from John (the nicest man!) who gave us a map with loads of helpful recommendations as to where to stop, swim, eat & drink. Lobster roll at Dunbeg, coffee & brownie at Dunquin and pint of Guinness at Tigh TP. Great charge on electric bikes so cycling was very easy and even after 50km there was lots of charge remaining. Thoroughly recommend this adventure - thank you John.Written 31 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - themsobiLagos14 contributionsI had the most amazing experience paddle boarding with Wild SUP Tours. Both Oona and Ed are amazing hosts and guides and aid to the confidence you feel while out of the water.
I wish i had booked an extended stay in Dingle cause it would have been great to get out on the water more than once with this group.
Will definitely be back next Summer :)!Written 21 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
