Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Barbara LAvon, CT4 contributionsI was very impressed by the aquarium. - Daphne MCardiff, UK192 contributionsWe visited Dingle for the first time this week and were so lucky that our visit coincided with a folk concert at St James Church. I had wanted to visit the church having watched a programme about Amy Winehouse once giving a concert there. We were unaware that folk concerts take place regularly between May - September and happened to arrive on the night of the very first concert of the 2023 season. Tickets are sold at various venues around the town. We purchased ours at Heaneys pub on the Main Street. It’s a small venue so best to buy your ticket in advance although if there is room you can pay at the door.
The concerts are organised and hosted by a local legend Eoin Duignan who is a multi - instrumentalist with in depth knowledge of Irish folk music and the stories that surround it. Alongside Eoin were other local musicians who delighted us with their talent on the guitar, fiddle , harp, piano and various flutes and pipes. It was a sheer delight and if you get the opportunity to go along make sure you don’t miss out! An evening we shall never forget.Written 11 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pfefmeisterSan Francisco, CA2,836 contributionsI was really impressed by the stained glass in the chapel - far more intricate than I imagined it would be. We paid 3 Euros to tour the buildings and visit the chapel. When finished there, wander out to the gardens. There’s an impressive Copper Beech that boasts the biggest canopy as well as the friend garden planted with 212 trees. Nice.Written 9 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- johnmM754OIChesterfield, MO758 contributionsShelves were filled with mostly routine tourist information. What I mean is that some "out of the way" places were not included in brochures. In fairness, we did not ask the staff for any of that information.Written 29 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pfefmeisterSan Francisco, CA2,836 contributionsCentrally located, this cozy pub had four beers on tap they make themselves. Another one of those hardware stores/pubs, it is small and intimate with friendly folks engaging in conversation. We liked this place and the noise factor is low so you can actually talk to someone.Written 7 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ellen NNorristown, PA32 contributionsWe stopped in on a Saturday to a warm welcome. We spent an hour visiting different rooms filled with original art by Irish artists. We settled on a small painting of a lake surrounded by mountains, a big sky and trees that will always remind us of our visit. Because we wanted to take it on the plane we needed the frame removed. The owner made a special trip in to do this for us, wrapping it in bubble wrap for the journey home. Just another lovely Irish person to remember!Written 6 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- travelinbluesgalCambridge, MA212 contributionsExcellent music. Good craic. We had seen the owner perform at the St. James Church concert series and came over afterward. If you want to see traditional Irish music and incredible musicians, this is the place to go.
