- Jocelyn ALondon, UK75 contributionsA glorious, sunny day out on the water with Dingle Dolphin, skipper Gary and first rate guide Brendan. We got very lucky and enjoyed the attentions of a large pod of common dolphins before spotting a humpback whale, and then, most excitingly a pair of fin whales which we stayed with for ages. On the way back we spent a few minutes with a nursery pod of bottlenose dolphins before heading back to Dingle harbour. We did the competitions two hour cruise later and this one was far better at a fraction of the price. Our guide and bow oar was full of information on the rich history of traditional rowing in Dingle, as well as the history of the harbor.
