Amazing facility, a lot bigger than expected. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. I have to mention Katie especially who made our visit! We’re attended all the feeding times and Katie was on hand delivering informative talks and answering any questions. Learned a lot!

I wanted to visit here to see where Tim Severin set off in his leather boat so many years ago. Very picturesque.

We planned on a walk but it was a beautiful day so we lazed on the beach. Amazing sand. What a shame it’s not suitable for swimming!

One of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Have been going to this beach annually for over fifty years and it is still an exhilarating experience whether to swim, walk, jog or sail. Just taking a stroll and admiring the lovely situation is a total pleasure. Very clean beach , few people on it and a long, long stretch of sandy delight! Very safe beach for kids to enjoy and the views are really spectacular. A day on this beach would be of great benefit to anyone!

We walked the Dingle Way over 5 days and this was the most stunning oceanfront portion of the walk - along beaches and cliffs. Geology and geography very similar to Maui (though pleasantly cooler). If you are walking the Dingle Way, this is probably the best part.

We stopped in on a Saturday to a warm welcome. We spent an hour visiting different rooms filled with original art by Irish artists. We settled on a small painting of a lake surrounded by mountains, a big sky and trees that will always remind us of our visit. Because we wanted to take it on the plane we needed the frame removed. The owner made a special trip in to do this for us, wrapping it in bubble wrap for the journey home. Just another lovely Irish person to remember!
