The bikes were easy to use and the corresponding app with the tour guide information made things very straightforward. They let us know we had a window of 4 hours and that the trip on average is 3-3.5 hrs. We finished right at 3.5 hrs. It seems silly, but I was much more comfortable taking that route on a bike than I would have been driving on the narrow roads in a car! - Rebecca RacinePhiladelphia, PA1 contributionMy husband and I booked this private tour upon arriving in Dingle in September and were fortunately able to grab the afternoon timeslot after Slea Head Tours had a last minute cancellation. At first, we thought four hours was going to be a long time for just the two of us going on this tour, but it actually allowed us to take our time and truly experience the beauty of the peninsula. Our driver was Des and he was a wealth of knowledge. Being a local resident of Dingle, he was so easy to chat with (we bonded over Philly - where we're from) and he made sure to point out significant sites and historical facts as we drove along the peninsula. He let us know that he'd be happy to pull over if there was anything we wanted to stop and see, and he even made some suggestions of his own that we wouldn't have thought to do (don't want to spoil anything!) which we so appreciated. We are not big on tours, but we wanted a break from driving ourselves and are so happy we booked this private tour and got Des as our guide. I would recommend to anyone to spend a little extra for the luxury of being able to sit back and let a local guide take you around. This was truly one of the highlights of our road trip around Ireland and we would do this again. She brought us to places that we would never have gone on our own, and offered a unique and colorful perspective about the region. The best part however, was that she felt like family. She is fun, and funny, all while being extremely professional. She wants you to have the best possible experience and works hard to make it happen. He was very quick to respond when I asked we ended up doing three days with him one on the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula and more on Killarney Park ending with private driving us all the way up to our next adventure.
Joe helped us to pick a very nice hotel to stay with and he finds lovely restaurants to eat at that are off the beaten path I highly highly recommend him he is very professional and he is very kind and we left knowing we have a dear friend in Ireland!
A highlight for me was that he went above and beyond and arranged and helped me to find a place that I could ride along the beach! Because of his recommendation I was able to do that! All we were writing along the beach Joe took my husband to an aviary and that was a highlight from my husband!:
We got to see prehistoric 4000-year-old places and scenery beyond beautiful of course when we went there was no rain so it made it even more special.
You will not find a more professional amazing tour guide than Joe! He goes above and beyond helping to get everything arranged! I cannot say enough good this person is trustworthy and knowledgeable!

From Bridget organising our trip with the very changeable weather to Jimmy’s vast knowledge of the history, geology and wildlife of the peninsula and islands we were treated incredibly well and had a fantastic time. The boat ride alone is great fun. There is so much to see along the peninsula and islands and we stopped at every opportunity to take photos. Undeniably we did go out to try and see some wildlife and we had said to ourselves not to get our hopes up as it can never be guaranteed but we were spoilt. We saw seals and their pups up on the beach and seals swimming off the shore, red deer grazing along the top of the island and then a minke whale and dolphins during a feeding frenzy time. It was a real privilege to see all these beautiful animals in their natural environment, and a big thank you to Jimmy for making every effort to show us as much as possible. Thank you to Bridget, Jimmy and all the Sea Safari team for a memorable trip. Ray knew the area and the history which made the experience special. We saw all the sites that we anticipated and my daughter and grandson had time to enjoy the aquarium in Dingle. Ray's flexibility was very welcome. Besides the special time at the aquarium the stop to feed lambs was special. The vehicle was comfortable and clean and the Slea Head drive was absolutely beautiful. I can't recommend this company enough.
