Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I planned a 10-day trip for a 70-yo friend traveling solo. I had originally booked with another tour company, but something told me to switch to Deros Tours. I'm sooo happy i did. Altho the original date (a Sunday in Oct) had to be cancelled (too few people), Deros put him on a small coach for the following day. The meeting place was easy for him to find and the weather turned out to be better than the original tour date. I was thrilled to learn that his coach driver was the infamous Bat -- my friend said he was very informative with craic a-plenty! Since my friend was traveling without a car for the week, I was thrilled to find the easy access of Deros Tours so he could explore further than his Killarney base. He was in awe of the beautiful scenery throughout the Dingle Peninsula. To see my tough, old-school Philadelphia paisano holding a baby lamb in his Irish cap and Aran sweater was pure joy. I would absolutely recommend Deros Tours and hope to take one myself one day soon!

Our guide, Jillian, was very knowledgeable and shared information on the history of the areas visited on the drive. The Slea Head Drive is full of spectacularly scenic views.

Over 2 hours of the greatest sea roller coaster ever. Yes, booked for 1.5 hours but our driver was determined for us to find dolphins and he went to sea and found dolphins!! Pictures galore, a trip that we will never forget.

I can't think of a better way for us to have taken in the Slea Head Drive than this amazing experience. The bikes were easy to use and the corresponding app with the tour guide information made things very straightforward. They let us know we had a window of 4 hours and that the trip on average is 3-3.5 hrs. We finished right at 3.5 hrs. It seems silly, but I was much more comfortable taking that route on a bike than I would have been driving on the narrow roads in a car! Loved every minute of this bike tour!

My husband and I booked this private tour upon arriving in Dingle in September and were fortunately able to grab the afternoon timeslot after Slea Head Tours had a last minute cancellation. At first, we thought four hours was going to be a long time for just the two of us going on this tour, but it actually allowed us to take our time and truly experience the beauty of the peninsula. Our driver was Des and he was a wealth of knowledge. Being a local resident of Dingle, he was so easy to chat with (we bonded over Philly - where we're from) and he made sure to point out significant sites and historical facts as we drove along the peninsula. He let us know that he'd be happy to pull over if there was anything we wanted to stop and see, and he even made some suggestions of his own that we wouldn't have thought to do (don't want to spoil anything!) which we so appreciated. We are not big on tours, but we wanted a break from driving ourselves and are so happy we booked this private tour and got Des as our guide. I would recommend to anyone to spend a little extra for the luxury of being able to sit back and let a local guide take you around. This was truly one of the highlights of our road trip around Ireland and we would do this again. Thank you, Des!

Booking: We booked online a little more than 2 weeks in advance. Was easy to prepare for trip and find the bus. Unfortunately the check-in process at the bus was frustrating -- we arrived at the time specified but stood in a line outside the bus for about 25 minutes before the driver showed up. We didn't realize there were passengers who had come from Cork in the morning who were on a horse and carriage tour in Killarney National Park and we had to wait for them to return. They also had saved all their seats on the bus so there was some confusion trying to get seats for us and with our respective travel partners, which made me anxious. The driver was patient and took charge and was able to figure it all out to our satisfaction but we were nearly an hour late leaving Killarney and that was a disappointing start to the day. If this happens to you, be patient, sip your coffee, it's just a blip in a fantastic day!

Itinerary: We enjoyed all of the stops and the context provided by John. Every vista on this trip is breathtaking. If I had to do again would have skipped entrance to bog village and went straight for the whiskey coffees.

Lunch: Nice stop in Waterville with plenty of time to order from a hot buffet and sit and eat, plus a short stroll. Made-to-order options were also available.

Bus: The bus is comfortable, the windows are tall so you can see well on both sides no matter which seat you are in. I am prone to motion sickness and had no trouble at all (without drugs). Felt safe leaving backpack on bus during hop-off stops, and eating snacks - noting driver insists no hot foods or smelly foods please. There are bathrooms at the Kerry bog village, Waterville, Snead and the waterfall (convenient throughout the day)

Driver: John was a good driver and articulate tour guide. He's very funny and gets the crowd involved which I really enjoyed.

Price: Price is totally fair for the memorable day you will have in comfort and ease. Irish coffees, entrance to the Kerry Bog Village, lunch, and ice cream are not included. Bring cash to tip your driver at the end.

Our family did the Dingle/Slea Head Tour with Mary. Her passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge about local history and heritage is contagious. She brought us to places that we would never have gone on our own, and offered a unique and colorful perspective about the region. The best part however, was that she felt like family. She is fun, and funny, all while being extremely professional. She wants you to have the best possible experience and works hard to make it happen. I would definitely recommend her to enhance and enrich any exploration of County Kerry.

Our guide Colm was wonderful, witty and and made up for the fact that it was so foggy, we saw very little of the beautiful views, which was unfortunate, but weather can’t be controlled. We had lots of fun, great tour! Loved Dingle

I have heard so much about the beautiful scenery of Dingle and I have decided to travel to Cork and take the Dingle Tour with Paddywagon Tours on the 2d of November. The tour included a visit to Killarney, Inch Beach, Slea Head Drive and the village of Dingle. It was an amazing trip because we got to see the Dingle peninsular and the Wild Atlantic an hour before a storm hit the peninsular. The scenery was both beautiful and dramatic. I only regret that we did not have enough time to explore and enjoy the scenery. May be because our tour guide Paudy was a bit in a hurry to show us everything and drive away before the weather got any worse. We had only about 15 minutes at the Inch Beach and about 20-25 minutes at the Slea Head Drive.

The narrator was awesome. She talked the entire hour. We took this tour and it was a fairly calm day. We went along the shoreline outside the harbor. So beautiful. The boat has covered seating if were raining but luckily we had a great day.

We had a great day touring the Ring of Kerry and the Skellig Ring with Colm. The drive is packed with so many beautiful views and interesting historic sites, and Colm's guidance and insights made for a much better experience than if we'd done a self-guided tour. We packed in a lot, and I was really glad we got to view so much of this beautiful region.
