What travellers are saying
- Thomas MAjaccio, France2 contributionsAbsolutely one of the best experiences in Ireland!
Great history beautifully told by Stephen and his family PLUS great exhibits, farm experience, local knitwear and crafts but most of all a genuine warm welcome from the whole family.Written 21 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - PaocarmCancun, Mexico2 contributionsPeaceful and beautiful! We enjoyed the beauty of it even with the rain! A nice activity to do when visiting kenmare. We totally recommend it!Written 25 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Conni T44 contributionsVery interesting to see the size of the boulders and wonder how they could have been moved without the use of modern-day machines!Written 1 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- gingerbreadgirlieEnnis, Ireland132 contributionsBeautiful scenery. Lovely artist with amazing works of art. Road is very narrow going up and we felt like are we going the wrong way. We were definitely delighted that we continued and didn't turn around. We got a personal tour around think everyone does. Will explain all about the art works and ans questions. Only thing I wished I knew before hand was that we could have booked accommodation there. Think will definitely have to stay if down that way again a little piece of heaven.Written 4 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- purplemama73Raleigh, NC36 contributionsMy adult daughter & I did a Night Trip last week with guide Eamon (and help from Anna & Niamh), and it was one of the highlights of our 12 days in Ireland. Beautiful & calm, with stories, folklore, jokes, history and nature. They provided everything we needed to remain warm and dry, and explained everything as we went. My daughter is not always comfortable in a kayak, and she admitted that she loved it! I truly cannot recommend Emerald Outdoors enough!Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- scutlerChatham, MA32 contributionsMy husband and I loved touring the Ring of Beara with Paul! We had a car on our trip, but were hesitant to drive the Ring ourselves due to narrow roads. Paul was top notch in every way. First, it is always a bit uncertain spending a full day with a guide, but Paul was so easy to be with -- friendly, knowledgeable, easy-going, and just an absolute gentleman. My only regret is that we didn't book him for our Dingle tour.
Paul is a gem. Grab his booking if he is free. You won't regret it. Thank you Paul!Written 23 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Victor S9 contributionsRented a car. Planned and unplanned stops along the way based on preference. Random castles, forts, and scenic views. Friendly locals. - Susan BBallinskelligs, Ireland104 contributionsA place to visit and purchase the best chocolate in all of Ireland. Most of my order was sent to family in UK for Easter but going back for my share this week. Thank you Mr Lorge Susan and all staff. - Patrick Fitzgibbon1 contributionI'm a new golf member and I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming club. I travel over an hour to get to the course and it is more than worth the trip.
The course is amazing. Always kept in tip top condition. Some very challenging shots mixed with amazing scenery.
You will be well looked after by Romi and all the staff in the club house. They provide amazing food and the pints are 10 out of 10 too.
The views from the course and clubhouse are unrivalled. Well worth a visit.Written 7 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
