What travellers are saying
- Thomas MAjaccio, France2 contributionsAbsolutely one of the best experiences in Ireland!
Great history beautifully told by Stephen and his family PLUS great exhibits, farm experience, local knitwear and crafts but most of all a genuine warm welcome from the whole family.Written 21 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ClarevillehouseTuamgraney, Scariff, Co. Clare, Ireland16 contributionsWell worth a visit to this beautiful catholic church situated in the middle of Kenmare town. It is kept very clean & inviting to sit and pray.Written 28 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Máire H10 contributionsThis was a very pleasant visit to see beautiful craftmanship with gorgeous timber, The tables and chairs were particularly facinating- lovely cofee tables which would tempt you to buy a piece which would be a great talking point in your home. It's a place you could see yourself returning to again and again.Written 7 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- peggy10 contributionswhile visiting the town of Kenmare we stopped to visit the inside of this church. It was absolutely beautiful- the architecture, flooring, stained glass, vaulted ceilings, altars and more. Definitely worth a quick stop if visiting the townWritten 1 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Maureen GKenmare, Ireland32 contributionsThere is such a variety of events put on at the Carnegie that it's always worth checking what's on. Drama, poetry, music, sometimes local talent, sometimes national, art exhibitions etc. You could spend a whole evening here or twenty minutes browsing. Look in.Written 5 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Peter CDublin, Ireland5 contributionsGreat fun, really relaxed, no pressure and top guides as well. Definitely try and do this if you're in that part of Ireland. Kayaks are secure and they supplied all the equipment neededWritten 20 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Denis Monaghan3 contributionsThis was our third trip to Kenmare in the past 10 years. The first time we drove ourselves. The past two trips, we used Paul Brown for all of our touring needs. Paul is very personable, extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. Over 3-4 days, while touring Dingle, Cork, Kerry and the Beara Peninsula, he showed us places that you will not see with other tours. You will really get the flavor and the history of southwestern Ireland with Paul.
My wife and I feel that we have found another "Irish Cousin" in Paul. Great guy.

- S. Kelly2 contributionsNora was fantastic teaching me how to make Kenmare lace! Very patient and excellent instruction on how to make very beautiful lace. If you want to learn how to make lace, I highly recommend you take the time and book a lesson!Written 30 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Helen RStockport, UK9 contributionsPopped in on the off chance. Sat out the back, too noisy and smokey. So moved indoors, cosy and good atmosphere. Ordered food and it was fabulous. We had a good evening.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kevin O6 contributionsTucked away in a mews-style property on Henry Street, the Kenmare Soap Shop is a really welcoming and interesting place. All kinds of soaps, therapies and skin care, and some terrific art and craft products too - the cheeky greetings cards are worth a look on their own!
I bought a bottle of the house's home-made liquid dog soap and it's brilliant. Our little minpin's coat has come up brilliantly!Written 8 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - demitriNew Bern, NC36 contributionsDeclan Finnegan and his bevy of drivers cared for us for weeks - all 18 of the family at times - in 2018. Now, there are only three of us upon our 2019 Summer return but already Declan has collected us at Killarney and Phillip has made our 6 hour excursion to the tip of Dingle and return memorable. We have ridden with this 'company' - actually a family! - for two straight years using everything from their large van to a sedan and it's always a joy. Reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable. Would never think of driving ourselves in Kerry or Cork with Declan and his 'crew' available.Written 7 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- momof7paPennsylvania121 contributionsStopped by to get a piece of Kenmare lace. The stores have lace made in Ireland but not actual lace made in Kenmare.
