- jsheehanLimerick, Ireland100 contributionsMyself and my son hiked across the route a few months back . Its an unspoilt area with some rugged terrain , but mostly pretty good under foot . The weather can be quite different higher up and its exposed so prepare well , its a number of hours to complete .Written 28 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Tammy_HikesPennsville, NJ124 contributionsThis was as great little spot to check out. I walked by it on my way into town. The bridge is pretty neat. There is also a walking path near it. I didn't have the time to see where it went, but I will definitely stop again the next time I'm in Kenmare. It was a great town and I'm looking forward to going back next year.Written 9 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Restless59Bournemouth, UK1,003 contributionsI’ve been driving & camping with my bike & hiking boots for a week now and am loving just jumping onto different parts of The Beara Way Walk. It really is a very special area on the SWest coast of Ireland.
For me personally I much prefer The Beara to the far more tourist route of The Ring of Kerry. It’s quieter the roads much smaller so no big tourist coaches and loads of groups of folks jumping on & off at certain points. This area is far more relaxed and peaceful. The coastline is actually quite different to the one further north more bays & tiny little coves rather than big Cliffs.Written 30 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - gingerbreadgirlieEnnis, Ireland132 contributionsBeautiful scenery. Lovely artist with amazing works of art. Road is very narrow going up and we felt like are we going the wrong way. We were definitely delighted that we continued and didn't turn around. We got a personal tour around think everyone does. Will explain all about the art works and ans questions. Only thing I wished I knew before hand was that we could have booked accommodation there. Think will definitely have to stay if down that way again a little piece of heaven.Written 4 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- peggy10 contributionswhile visiting the town of Kenmare we stopped to visit the inside of this church. It was absolutely beautiful- the architecture, flooring, stained glass, vaulted ceilings, altars and more. - travelerfromsjSan Jose, CA1,691 contributionsIf you’re visiting Cromwell Bridge, you might as well walk across the street and see this little Holy Well. It’s small, but very well kept up. Visitors come here to pray for healing.Written 10 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Helen RStockport, UK9 contributionsPopped in on the off chance. Sat out the back, too noisy and smokey. So moved indoors, cosy and good atmosphere. Ordered food and it was fabulous. We had a good evening.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kevin O6 contributionsTucked away in a mews-style property on Henry Street, the Kenmare Soap Shop is a really welcoming and interesting place. All kinds of soaps, therapies and skin care, and some terrific art and craft products too - the cheeky greetings cards are worth a look on their own!
I bought a bottle of the house's home-made liquid dog soap and it's brilliant. Our little minpin's coat has come up brilliantly!Written 8 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
