I walked the Bisse du Ro a few times when I was in Crans Montana for a week in September. There has clearly been a lot of effort invested into the trail and it is very well maintained, as it needs to be given where it goes. If heights make you uncomfortable, this is probably not the trail for you. However, when I was there only one part of the trail was along a section with a large drop and no safety rail (you hold on to a rope attached to a cliff face - I've attached a photo of this section), and even on that bit they're in the process of building a suspension bridge to circumvent that section.
The part of the trail that runs alongside the water course (so basically the bit from Crans Montana) is, by necessity, quite flat so you don't need to be particularly fit to walk that section, although there are a couple of bits that go under low rocky outcrops, so you'd need to be fit enough to duck to a level of about three feet or so. Much of the trail is along walkways suspended on a vertical cliff face. The walkway is wide enough that two people can pass each other without too much difficulty, but it would still be a bit of a palaver if it was very busy (which it wasn't when I was there in September).
After a mile or so, at the end of the water course, the flat bit ends and the trail becomes more of a standard mountain trail, which I followed all the way to the dam (and back).
Basically it's a pretty easy walk with stunning views.

Super service! Dropped into the shop with a broken disk brake and was back on the trail in 30 mins. Thanks for the help!

The most beautiful & scenic golf course on Swiss Alps doubles as a ski slopes in Winter. Hosting Annual Omega Swiss Masters to top European PGA Tour golfers every year in Summer & gentle ski slopes in Winter to suit beginners & children makes this place a wonderful resort. We enjoy every visit all Seasons to play golf or ski !

I’ve participated in 3 trail running experiences with Beeheidi, each one was unique, rewarding and memorable.
The first was the Inauguration Day with the fabulous team of young adventurers in Les combires above crans Montana. The second with Michelle when we ran above Saillon and today with Sandra Heidi when we ran an easy course over the col de Cou above Champéry.
My trail running has improved even if I know my downhill running is not yet at a decent level.
Each time the scenery was fantastic.
I really appreciated not having to think about the route, knowing that at the end of the effort we would go to a wonderful mountain restaurant and the easy discussions with these young guides who are passionate about their mountains in a fun and unassuming way.
Full support for this new concept that enables safe encounters with the Swiss mountains!

Our 3 year old son had an absolutely wonderful time with Marion. She provided such wonderful indoor and outdoor activities to keep the children engaged and learning fun new things. Our little guy came back home happy each day, and we felt so at ease and comfortable leaving him for the day so we could enjoy some ski time - so we all got to enjoy ourselves! Truly appreciative for this wonderful place and the wonderful, caring Marion. Would highly recommend, and look forward to coming back again!

We got 2 sets of boots (for the children) and 3 sets of skis and were in and out in 20 minutes. The shop volunteered that we were entitled to a discount and applied it without us asking or even being aware of it. Friendly service with guidance on what skis were best for the snow conditions.

An unforgettable experience for the whole family in Crans Montana, my kids, 11 and 8 years old and I had a great time flying with Alexander and his team, there was not a minute that we felt unsafe, the entire experience is unique and was the highlight of our vacation in Switzerland. Alexander thanks again for taking such good care of my kids and I, we will always remember this great adventure! Merci beaucoup
