*Note: English guided tours may not be available* We almost did not see the convent, but we are glad we did. It is an active protestant convent, with guided tours done by the sisters themselves. Beautiful baroque architecture, with medieval elements.

Traveling in certain parts of Germany is challenging, as many do not accept credit cards. This pool is a welcome exception. Choose to stay two or three hours, with or without sauna. Two hours without sauna is a good start, and gives ample time to explore the many features in the different pools. Two outdoor pools as well, all is salt water, very pleasant.

I visited this little heath in the middle of August when it was in full bloom and it was just breath taking. The area is small but density of the plants and the colour intensity when blooming is exceptional.

There is a big parking place about 200 m far from the entrance but it is possible to park on the road closer. You will find there a few marked hiking trails in different length with information panels and examples of prehistorical dwellings. It is definitely worth a visit.
