What travellers are saying
- Remus4 contributionsAmazing experience. We started from Mestre, Venice then we climbed this magnificent route starting from Trafoi to BormioWritten 21 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mufna74Bohemia, Czech Republic41 contributionsThird week in March there were minimal people on the slopes, no lines, no waiting. Granted, at around 12:00, the show at lower altitudes started to get sticky and then heavy, but the higher slopes were ok. THe overall snow level was low (lowest in years) so some rocks started to show through on the upper slopes, leading to some interesting gouges in my skis.
The slopes are pretty steep, so not a place for beginners of lovers of blue slopes, but if you have some technical skills and are not sporting FIS 220cm skis, you will enjoy the slopes, the nature, the UNBELIEVABLE views, and have a grand time.Written 2 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - TuriangPalermo, Italy69 contributionsBeautiful valley with alternative lifts and slopes in Bormio that is close about 25 minutes by free bus if you have the skipass.Written 2 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ruth TFrankfurt, Germany6 contributionsHad 6 lessons with Giada. She was absolutely fantastic, so friendly and patient! All of the staff were super friendly too, I even booked more lessons whilst I was there. 100% recommend this ski school!!Written 12 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mimi_BruxChalfont St Peter, UK54 contributionsBoth our kids spent a lovely week, one learning skiing and the other improving. Teachers are very good, speak fluent English, and have the right ways of encouraging kids even when they are afraid etc. The school director and the school secretary are also very organised and supportive!Written 24 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Michael CToronto, Canada4 contributionsGiacomo and his crew are probably the best bike guides I've ever come across. It starts with a morning briefing describing the route, elevation etc. Often times there is a van support carrying your backpack for extra clothing (which you will definitely need after climbing those mountains) food and water. The rides will naturally split up according to rider ability and the guides will also split up accordingly and so you can ride as fast or as slow as you want. Mountain descents are controlled for safety and routes are planned for to avoid road closures/traffic and for best sight seeing. All guides are super friendly and truly professional. Stex is an extremely well run machine, kudos!Written 2 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Fatemeh MStockholm, Sweden51 contributionsMany ski schools, good slopes but not suited for beginners, more advanced skiers will like this place!Written 1 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JCH60 contributionsWe had Micki (with sunglasses), Miki(with beard) for the week. We could not have had better instructors. I felt Miki pushed me all the time to improve my ‘angulation’ and gave us some great drills! They challenged our old habits and we made significant improvements! If you want to get out of the ‘rut’ of your old habits, give this young and vibrant group of instructors a go. We also spent a couple of afternoons withLunda, who has to be the most positive of instructors!Written 1 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- M349DOsarab2 contributionsWe've just returned from a ski trip to Bormio. Our 2 girls, Isabella (7) and Elena (5) received private lessons from Omar and Martha during a week, one hour a day. Prices are in line with everyone else, but as parents, we must say that we we're thrilled with the results. It was our first skiing trip with our children, and they had only tried it once in an indoor skiing hall in Belgium. After only 2 lessons Omar took our girls up the mountain. They were never scared or unhappy. On the contrary, they loved every minute of the lessons and after one week we could take them anywhere on the slopes (except of course the black slopes) and they kept asking us to hurry up :-) The teachers, Omar and Martha, where always on time (professional: calling us to mention a 5 minute delay) and very good in dealing with small children. Our girls don't speak Italian and only understand a little bit of English but this was at no time a problem. Martha even made the effort to look up a few words in Dutch on a translation website. Nothing but warm feelings with regards to our collaboration with the Anzi Ski School. We wouldn't go anywhere else.Written 10 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TastyTripsMontecarlo, Italy293 contributionsVisited the property due to a trip with the family in Trafoi, the other side of the Passo, OMG!
The course is only 9 holes and you play 18in is getting very slow on the back nine, not good!
However, the course offers great challenges for averaged and non players.
Great view, amazing air and simply a great place to be!Written 14 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
