- saronicZurich, Switzerland22,325 contributionsWhen out of Chiavenna on a day trip to Sondrio our friends there told us to stop on the way in Morbegno to have a look - and for some shopping - at the traditional food store 'Fratelli Ciapponi'. We were surprised to find in this rather untouristy place one of the most incredible food shops we have ever seen.
In several rooms and cellars there are to be found all kind of local products like cheese, salume, wines and various other products. Alone the atmosphere in this place is unique. On an article by Financial Times displayed at a front window, it says that it is one of the best 50 food stores in the world, As an old globetrotter, having seen many places all over the world, I must agree.Written 28 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - M7414UXpaulfLos Angeles2 contributionsMy friend and I were welcomed to this beautiful salon for the hair washing and blow dry experience of our lives. The hair washing process at the the salon is life changing. We just didn't want to leave.
The salon is beautiful and modern with every attention to detail imaginable. Definitely something that everyone should experience when in Morbegno or nearby.Written 22 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
