    Absolutely awesome!
We did the Mudley Quest room and managed to escape with 10 minutes left. Got stuck on a couple puzzles but hints off Poppy got us back on track :) Definitely worth it if you've got a spare hour or two.

Went out to my favourite pub last week with wife and 2yr old. I had my usual gourmet burger which was delicious as usual and my wife had fish and chips which she said was nice. The down side was we ordered just some fries for my son. We then asked for a scoop of ice cream for him. Our prices were ok. But £3.75 for some fries for a 2yr old and 2.95 for one scoop of ice cream was a bit much. I appreciate fries cost that on the menu but for a 2yr old maybe there should be a discount and as for the ice cream well I don’t know. Too much. It’s a pity as it’s put us off going back to eat with him. I’ll be back as the pub is lovely As is the food. Just thought I’d pass on some feedback that’s all.

We often stop here before going for a meal. Always a warm welcome from the owner and staff. Good selection of cocktails and beer. Will return.

What an exceptional meal last night. The quality, quantity and adventure that went with every portion was delightful. We have a fantastic night. All the staff were brilliant. Thank you

Nice stylish place, staff very good. Table quality is fine. I didn't try the food, only criticisms at (1) some shots on a couple of tables are hampered by the walls so choose your table if this will be a problem....and I wonder why they went for American style tables instead of UK?? Still a good atmosphere though.

First time we have attended this venue. My wife and I are originally from Manchester, so these venues are common place down there.

I emailed the venue earlier in the week for times/curfew etc. They replied lightening fast.

The venue itself is clean vibrant and appealing.
Drinks reasonable considering it's a city.(A small city as its the size of Wigan really).

Atmosphere was a 10 even though we were one of the oldest..

The band were amazing as well.

We parked very close by as its free after 8pm if you have a disc .

All in all a brilliant night...

The small tables and chairs at the back are a brilliant idea. They look like the coffee houses of Greenwich Village New York.

We came out of the railway station and spotted this place on the corner opposite the citadel, and as they were advertising tapas we thought we would give it a try. The ceiling and walls are very ornate, the service was quick and the food good, especially the churros with chocolate sauce. Made a nice change.

The current Bar staff have done so much work and pored so much love into this venue and it shows! The moment you walk in you are made the feel welcome even if it's your first time and don't know anyone. It's a great place to make new friends and no pressure to perform at the open mic nights, you are more than welcome to just come and enjoy the live entertainment. The bar prices are good and have a great selection of drinks. Can't recommend this places highly enough!

Went for Sunday lunch with my Mum. There is no restaurant open at the minute, it is just the bar.
Slow service considering it wasn't busy. Average food.
Overcharged at final bill. Announced loudly at the table that my card had declined. NO IT HADN'T!! IT WAS YOUR RUBBISH WIFI SIGNAL.
I didn't bother about the refund, I'd just had enough by this time.
If you're putting on a 2 course Sunday lunch menu on surely it can't be that hard to charge the 2 course price instead of charging it as individual courses.
2x2 courses of Sunday lunch and a bottle of wine was £69.
Very expensive for what it was and for just eating in the bar area.
    Won't be back.

Ok bar - it was very quiet when we went in on a Friday night but everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Most of the people in there were drunk but the craic from the locals was good.
I didn’t like all of the Celtic memorabilia - it didn’t seem like an Irish bar, more of a dodgy Glasgow or Belfast pub where you would get killed for having an English accent

I go to Carlisle about 4 or 5 times a year and I always make sure I drop in to my favourite bar in Carlisle, Club britannia. We always receive a warm welcome from staff and regulars when we visit, and enjoy a game of pool and a few reasonably priced drinks. Unfortunately we have only been able to use the club during the day before we travel home again but we are hoping to stay longer in the future

I've never visited a club or bar with such rude and uninviting staff, and hope to never visit one like this again. After hearing good things about the club, we decided to head there midway through our night. Upon arrival we asked the bouncers if it was busy inside, and they told us it was buzzing, which it wasn't at all - it was absolutely dead.
When we entered the club and realised it was dead, we in no way let it get us down and headed straight to the (tiny) dancefloor to lighten the mood. After roughly 15 seconds of dancing, we noticed filthy looks from the bar staff, so I decided to go and get a drink. After I had purchased a drink, the barmaid began shouting at me that "none of my friends had bought a drink". I was unaware this was part of the entry requirements - if people don't want a drink, then they DON'T want a drink, nothing you can do about that! She got more and more aggressive, to the point of swearing and shouting at us, and essentially chasing us out of the establishment.
My brief 4 minutes in the establishment gave me enough content to write an appropriately scathing review, 'LGBT friendly' is an absolute laugh.
