Truly enjoyed this adventure. Very well organized. Quite a beautiful area. Thrilled to be able to cross the border of the 3 countries and to explore lap land.

We did 3 tours with Arctic Guide Service and was able to see the lights twice (once faintly and the 2nd time, a grand show). The lights are spectacular to watch, it is everything that I had imagined after looking at so may photos. The 3rd time was a damp tour because we went almost to the border of Finland, but was snowing all the way. We stopped at a spot with the hope that the weather will clear, but it did not. The weather is a huge factor to take into consideration and the guides can control only so much! All our 3 tours were in a regular bus (and not a mini-bus). The regular bus has restrictions as to where it can go and park -> this means lesser number of spots to see the lights. The guides helped us with Smartphone camera settings and also took great quality photos with their professional cameras. Good value for the price as other activity providers are more expensive.

We weren’t optimistic about our chance of seeing the lights, weather had been miserable all day but our guide, Arbo, said there could be a break in the clouds around Sommeroy and off we went. The sky did indeed open up at Sommeroy and the northern lights were incredible. Even Arbo (who has been doing tours since 2018) seemed genuinely excited at the extraordinary display. He set up a camp with chairs and a fire. We had delicious soup and watched the lights for about two hours! Can’t rate Greenlander and Arbo highly enough.

We had a fantastic adventure. Jinyar was such a good guide . He made the hunt interesting , fun and personal. The minibus is very comfortable and Jinyar took us to some beautiful spots. He’s knowledgable and very focused on making sure everyone is having a great time . When we went the magnetic activity wasn’t actually great but he still managed to find the aurora and we had a memorable experience. The photos he took were fantastic . I would defiantly recommend.

I loved this experience. It was an incredible tour with beautiful landscapes. The guide Kurt was very attentive, polite and introduced us to the region with a lot of information and knowledge. Loved it.

Well organised and very safe with clear instructions for driving a snowmobile, even for beginners. The guide (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name, but was French) ensured we all had a safe and rewarding drive. The food offered at the Sami tent was both hearty and warm, with second rounds if you wanted! I would recommend this trip.

Great adventure - stunning scenery - David was very knowledgeable and looked after the group as the weather was inclement - with heavy rain on our return which meant we had to cope with low cloud and fog which covered some of the great Arctic vistas.
Enjoyed Soup for lunch while we waited for a ferry back from Senja.
Tricky to find the meeting place @ 7am!

Incredible tour and I know there can be no guarantees but George worked so hard to maximise our chances of seeing the lights and he also gave some great advice on taking pictures with my own camera too. Will go back with him in the future!

Overall, my experience with Norwegian Travel has been quite disappointing. The expeditions they provided were decent, but that is only because of the guides loving their job and providing a good experience. The rest of the organisation however is terrible - transport to and from the camp was overbooked which meant we had to wait for another bus (and that means that someone else who was not supposed to take our places was allowed to). A compensation was offered - we accepted it and never received it. Due to bad weather, a part of the expedition was cancelled and we were told that we would get a refund - this refund was never received (2 months since the date of statement).

Overall, they don't care about you as a customer at all. You are far better off going with another activity provider.

Reidar is experienced and thoughtful. He offered to change the trip from day to early night so that we can get a glimpse of both the sunset and northern light chasing. He is very familiar with Norwegian culture which made our trip informative and interesting.

We had such an amazing time chasing the Aurora Borealis with Nico. Mother Nature was obviously very kind to us but, he made it possible for us to see it in such a beautiful place, even with really bad weather predictions. There was a snowstorm and a lot of cloud cover. Nico delayed the start of the tour keeping it in mind, as the weather was supposed to improve later in the night. He drove us a long distance, constantly checking for clear skies. We initially had no success at the first attempted destination. He then drove us to a different location. His perseverance paid off. We had such a wonderful, magical night.
He also provided us with everything required to help us stay warm.
Thank for being so enthusiastic, considerate, friendly and above all trying your very best, Nico! We wish you all the best.
    Ti auguro il meglio!
    Meghna & Varsha.
