Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We didn't do any of the rides, but we did walk around the area and see all the attractions.

It looked good fun, and there was a wide range of rides to go on and enjoy.

It was a bit cold the day we went, so we did not fancy the rides. Otherwise, we would have.

    Would be great for kids

Off-season in early December there was no queue, so we were able to board very quickly. Iconic ride for those who remember "The Third Man", and great views of the city.

We used our Vienna passes for this attraction. We went only because of that. It’s a long time since we’ve been to MT in London. However we were pleasantly surprised by the layout of the wax works and how one could interact with the lifelike figures. It’s a fun visit, and great to have a photo or two to send to friends as a bit of fun.

Big luna park within Prater. There are rides for young Children, teens and adults. We enjoy our time and we felt like children.

Trinitarierkirche Zum Heiligen Franz Von Assisi is a beautiful church to view if you're planning a holiday to this most beautiful of city's.
Constructed between 1898-1910 St Francis Of Assisi ,aka,Emperor's Jubilee Church is a beautiful looking and quite imposing church ,it's a great example of Rhenish- Romanesque architecture ,very photogenic ,makes for some great photographic opportunities ,best views are from the bridges that cross Danube ,the church is easy to locate on Mexikoplatz ,jump the Ubahn ( U1 ) down to stop Alte Donau which brings you up and out onto the church .
Well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Vienna.

Donauinsel is a wonderful area of this city to visit ,an island in the middle of the Danube that stretches from the River Danube to the Neue Doneu,a haven from the hustle and bustle of the city even though it's very centrally located ,great for dog walkers ,joggers ,cyclists and enjoying a picnic ,views of the River Danube are superb especially if you're standing on one of the bridges that cross this famous river,it's most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Vienna .

This is a wonderful collection of finest modern architecture - only steps away from the Prater. Different styles for different usages - accessible and usually open for the public. Don’t miss Zaha Hadid‘s library, the iconic center of the ca 2014 opened new campus of the Business University. Architectural tours are available but should be booked in advance.

Indeed Vienna has a lot green areas and parks - this is one of those parks ...But as mentioned is more to it than for the first will meet the eye -there are several potential points of interest scattered in/and around the park:
    - WWII mementos of war in the shape of 2 decommissioned - but still standing menacing anti-aircraft towers - the once dreaded Flakturms. Today they are just the skeletons reminding of an era of terror and anti-semitism that shall never return.
    - Vienna Porcelain Manufactory in Ausgarten - if you are interested in the art o porcelain you can pay a visit.
    - MuTh Concert Hall - temporary close - but very interesting to check out otherwise.
    - Restaurants and Eateries - two of those in/near the park - "Die Schankwirtschaft im Augarten" and the "Am Nordpol 3".
    - Familienbad Augarten - Family Barth Augarten - as the name says a bath / swimming pool complex at the edge of the park.
If none of the above is for you there are several other things - like chilling on the green pitch, maybe having a picnic with friends , also walking or riding a bicycle can be an option.
So, overall if you want a patch of green and you are in the area this park can be the right spot for you.

We had a great time going round the museum and making our own chocolate and hot chocolate at the Museum. The staff were very friendly and everything was fun (plenty of photo opportunities). Only down side was a hand-full of things weren’t working which was a shame. But still really enjoyed.

Metallica rocking Vienna - definitely a must do and it was on the Ernst Happel stadium so here are the findings:
    - the Stadium is big enough - ain't no O2 or Wembley - it has like 50K seats - now for this show probably 35K seats were opened due to the position of the stage and on the grass most likely another 40K so a decent crowd was there to see the "Masters of Puppets".
getting there you have several options - cab, uber, own car - you have a parking next to the stadium but you need to be there early otherwise it's a gamble if you find a spot. Now for me public transport is the choice - taking the subway since the concert ticket is also your transportation ticket is just great.
    - enter /exit - smooth and fast - easy in easy out - fast but complete security check on the way in ... nothing to say.
    - food / drinks on the premises - available from sausage to chips to burger - beer and Jagermeister was available fast and easy - and the glasses - such neat memorabilia to take some with ya.
The Gig - what can I say - just great , sound was excellent - the lighting and pyro absolutely mindblowing - the crowd civilised and having a great time -I mean an absolutely perfect night from the band perspective.
A single minus - for the whole stadium a single restroom area was organized - the queues where huge - not good in case of an emergency.
Otherwise a great show from probably the biggest Metal band that is out there today - so if you see a gig on Ernst Happel - well go for it is a good venue.

Although only a few metres from our hotel you need to know this museum is there, could be better signed. Far better than the more advertised Mozart House. Learnt some very interesting facts and listened to excellent music. Well worth finding.

I was there for a conference. The congress center is closed to a MRT station. There are a bunch of places that you can have lunch during a conference such as McDonald and a couple of restaurant. After the conference you can enjoy an amusement park that is located very closed to the congress center.

This is a huge public swim area with many pools and facilities for babies, kids and adults. Almost a small city. With restaurants, ice cream booths, etc. For kids there are water slides, a tower to jump and every full hour they have artificial waves. Great to relax after a business or sightseeing day.

The highlight of my trip to Vienna, seeing the Vienna Boys choir. The tickets are quite expensive, it’s a small theatre and the seats are not that comfy. Staff friendly, and the bar/ café was good value. Small shop well stocked with souvenirs.
