Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the little side streets and only walked through the main pedestrian area, but it was truly the most magnificent Christmas light display I’ve seen on streets. I saw someone describe it as an outdoor ballhouse, and I thought it was fitting. Shops are closed on a Sunday, but cafes are filled to the brink even outside. Probably one of the nicest shopping streets/tourists areas I’ve visited in European capitals.

On a river boat cruise and from the uk 🇬🇧 we docked on the side of the Danube. It’s just a lovely 🥰 area for chilling out. The weather was so lovely while we were here in September

If you want to grab a drink or a bite to eat with some friends, this is the place for you. Especially in the summertime where you can sit outside without being engulfed by cigarette smoke, although establishments do offer non-smoking sections. It can be crowded and noisy and you might meet some drunken people, but hey, it comes with the territory. Some places offer live music too. The prices are according to Viennese standards, slightly on the high side but you can choose from a wide selection of pubs/restaurants/bars. Plus, it's really close to the Schwedenplatz U-Bahn, so you really don't have to take your car. Cheers!

You will not find many tourist in this neighbourhood although it's the quarter with the university and campus, Sigmund Freud museum, Liechtenstein museum and park. The Servitengasse is an atmospheric street with some nice restaurants and terraces ( try Porzellan), and some trendy shops. Along the Donau Canal the Summer Stage with various concerts and lots of bars..
