I was really looking forward to this but it disappointed me, I enjoyed the 1 hour we spent there and got some herbs, but it’s all the same stuff. We have some food at papas and that was really good, I recommend.

Very tasty Käse Krainer (typical würstel of Wien). It is served with mustard and a pita with garlic. Yummy!

Old auction house that has many rooms with things for sale, worth a stop in if nearby, only takes 30 minutes to see all.

Wish I knew this BEFORE I walked a half an hour in the freezing cold !!! Apparently the paintings of note are relocated in the Theater Museum- Would have been nice if there was a sign outside the museum that mentioned this! I walked around the building twice before giving up to the elements. My review is based on previous for the collection by others. Not sure how I feel about buying a ticket to a museum I have no interest in just to see the Bosch.

In this high-end grocery shop you find deli products from Austria, as well as from all over the world. Worth visiting. You may also eat something small here, or a sweet, and there is a wine bar in the basement (stairs from inside the grocery shop, as well as from the side street).

Prices are not low, but you get what you pay for.

At “Graben” within the pedestrian area, on short walking distance from The Stephansplatz.

My twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around the Meidling neighbourhood when we chanced upon this museum and although it was closed on our visit it looked really interesting as it's a museum dedicated to the history and production of schnapps.
The building looks superb that the museum is housed in and it would have been good to do a tour and learn more about schnapps.
You have to pre book your tour which I most certainly will when I return to Vienna next year.
The museum is found on Wilhelmstraße and is well worth checking out.

Just by the opera, a covered area and shopping area. Gets you out cold as well and nice to stroll around or have a coffea.

This was worth the trip of 3 hours on a rainy day. The photos are out awesome and displayed well with great lighting in a beautiful space. You can easily spend an hour or more here... take it slowly and enjoy a time gone by.

A small market that I discovered by chance when I went to visit the Hunderwasser house(the market is placed beside the metro station). There are a dozen of smaller or larger stands selling very apetizing food, vegetables, fruits or pastries.

Visited this mall as it was close to our hotel and also because I have been to the other main shopping street and malls and still had time to kill :) After reading the reviews I didn’t expect much but there are quite a good number of shops, not the high expensive ones, which was what I was looking for.

Step back in time to the bygone Biedermeier era when you enter the cute courtyards of Raimundhof .
Located just off Mariahilfer Straße there are some really cute cafes and bars in these courtyards and some boutique shopping outlets ,we dropped into Cafe Im Raimundhof were we enjoyed a coffee,it was just so good finding such a lovely cafe in such a beautiful set of courtyards, very evocative, very photogenic and if your wandering down Mariahlifer Straße well worth checking out.
