What travellers are saying
- Angela225London, UK40 contributionsWe went because the locals recommended it. €2.20 entry for multiple outdoor pools, plus rock pools, with changing, toilets and a high life guard presence. On site cafe was cheap, with an extensive menu and friendly service, alcoholic drinks and a sea view. You could fill a joyful day with children here (without breaking the bank) - we had none with us, but the mix of people and general vibes was so much better than a high end end hotel pool.
One of our most relaxed and chilled days on the island and they called us a taxi back to ponta DelgadoWritten 28 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We learned a lot from our excellent and knowledgeable bilingual guide. I recommend a visit to this amazing farm!Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Koen67Bruges, Belgium711 contributionsWe stumbled on this place by accident in a side entrance of the church. We were guided by a very friendly young lady through a set of hidden chambers in the church telling us about the history and treasures of the church.Written 26 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VadimMurmansk, Russia26,794 contributionsThis three-nave Church of Our Lady of the Rosary was built in the XVIII century. The design is traditional for the Azores. A special feature of the Church is the sculptures of Machado de Castro, also of the XVIII century.Written 22 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Erin M4 contributionsHighly recommend, was a real highlight of our trip!! We had a small group (just myself and my husband plus one other couple), and absolutely loved our guide Theresa. We did the half-day Pinhal da Paz ride, great way to experience the island! Got to walk, trot and canter - had a couple beginners in the group and Theresa really did a fabulous job explaining the different gaits and providing tips for how to sit/post/etc. Everyone at the farm was kind and friendly, and they take great care of their horses.Written 29 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ESVoogdOegstgeest, The Netherlands68 contributionsSo I wouldn't say it was the friendliest Tourist Office ever but the woman who helped us did do a nice job of explaining the city taxi tour options. We ended up taking one and it was a perfect way to spend half a day. There are many options (we chose the Caldera on the west side) and seemed more reputable than the typical quayside offering. In addition, the tourist office had realtime weather cams of all the island sites which allowed you to be aware of the locations that were rainy or socked in by mist.Written 16 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mita64London108 contributionsAn excellent trip with cycling around Lake Furnas, observing the geothermal cooking, swimming in the iron rich pools and breathtaking scenery. Dina was superb in helping us to choose great bikes and picking us up later than the scheduled time.Written 28 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mlmdaisyOdessa, FL18,468 contributionsThis s a good stop for anyone interested in ceramics. There were quite a few areas showing the complete process of making the pieces. Staff kept to themselves and the gift shop was rather small.Written 12 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Donna1 contributionOh what a tour!!!! The two day tour of the island is one of the best we’ve had in all of our travels! Fred, our guide was just the best! He backtracked when fog limited our views to make sure we saw everything at it’s best! He was fun and entertaining and so informative! We would highly recommend this two day tour and be sure to ask for Fred! He made our trip to Sao Miguel a vacation we’ll never forget!Written 20 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bruno Hasulyo6 contributionsOne of the greatest supplement an Athlete can ask for !
All natural, made on the beautiful island of Sao Miguel, in an ethical production process.
During the visit, we also received a great introduction of the product, and a nice behind the scene of how the actual product is made ! Super cool place and friendly atmosphere.
Strongly suggest it, to everyone who wants to live a long healthy life !
