She mentioned a lot about Iceland, played songs in local language, very interesting. When we visited, blue lagoon was closed due to the volanic eruption. They tooks us to the Hvammsvik lagoon instead. It was also beautiful. Kerid crater, waters falls and the geiser. There was help with the dry suits, fitting, getting in/out of the water etc. We waited in vans so it wasn’t too cold for me. It was an amazing experience. We had Giancarlo (GC) as our in the water guide and he was great - attentive and informative. - wheeeeelNew York City, NY7 contributionsAMAZING experience. I barely had 48 hours in Iceland and I really feel like I made the most of it on this tour. Spectacular sights, magical sauna, and our small 7-person group really clicked, too. Our guide, Franklin, was AWESOME - very generous with his knowledge (and his self-curated Icelandic playlist) and also such a great fun goofy personality. Maybe one of the best people you'll meet in Iceland?? - iphegeniaOntario139 contributionsExcellent tour of key spots to see. If you have to choose only 1 tour, I'd choose this one, the sights were amazing. Tour guide was very informative. Bus was large and comfortable. Grey Line was very accommodating as we missed our bus and they allowed us to join a later tour. Only downside is that because it's a big bus there are lots of drop-offs at the end of the day but not really a problem. Sadly blue lagoon was closed due to the volcanic eruptions but I enjoyed the alternative being sky lagoon. Matt our tour guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and full of interesting things to say about the places we visited. Absolutely magnificent scenery with some great driving from our driver Albert. Our guide Greg was an engineer by trade, and thus gave us a great scientific perspective on how and why the Aurora occurs. Based on his tracking and projections, Greg brought us out to the Thingvellir National Park area and hit the nail on the head. Around 9:30pm we got a 45 minute uninterrupted Northern Lights show. He took some amazing pictures of us as well.
We tried seeing the lights at one more location but it wasn't as brilliant as the first. Greg also pointed out various stars, planets and constellations before providing us with hot chocolate.

The driver was an amazing guide and made us feel safe in the snowy weather. He was patient and informative and friendly. We saw and hiked a crater, waterfalls, and a geyser plus more! I think his name was 'Carrlton' (sorry). But I definitely recommend.
