    The largest conference and concert center in the Nordic countries
    Tampere Hall is located opposite the main building of the University of Tampere near the railway station. It was completed in 1990. The main auditorium has over 1,700 seats.

    The Tampere Opera and the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra are based there. You can find also the Moomin Museum here.

    There is a new Marriott Hotel connected to the building.

    Special building
    The Tampere Theater is located centrally at the Keskatori, close to the Vanha Church. The Theater was started in 1904 and moved into the present Theatre in the new building 1913. Since the beginning it has been a professional theatre and do today have 120 employés and annually 100000 spectators.
    The building looks like a temple and is yellow and white.

    Always good theatre scenes
    My wife and me are going at least once per year to Komediateatteri to enjoy great theatre. This time we enjoyed play called Kaasua Komissaario Palmu. It was great. We like give special thanks to acteur Aimo Räsänen. He was the soul of the play.

    Billy Elliot
    Tampere Workers' Theatre (TTT) next to Hämeenpuisto Park is one of the two main theatres in Tampere along with the Tampere Theatre next to Central Square.

    This theatre produces some of the biggest theatre productions in Tampere yearly.

    We saw the musical Billy Elliot. It is a touching musical with catchy music.

    Ghidt of Bruce Sprongsteen consert
    We attended a consert of Ghostbof Bruce Springsteen in TTTklubi. The place is perfect for a conserts, amfitheatre-like set up for seats and tables and you hear music equally in every part of the hall
