Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It features an exhibition of all his major buildings with words about them, diagrams, maps, some models and photos. Unfortunately the English captions are written in grey which makes them hard to read, especially when written on glass.
It also has an exhibition area about the curved plywood furniture that is now world famous and everywhere, and Aino Aalto's distinctive glassware designs. Some you can sit on to try. There is a small cinema room for some films about them.
It took about an hour to see everything.
The gift shop is very good and the cafe is nice coffee and a good setting to rest.
I would recommend a visit to the museum by walking along the lake side fun the centre of town. Then after the museum you can walk back through the centre of town and see the actual buildings Aalto designed - from the museum, go up the steps to the university and go from there. You can see the university campus and sport facilities, then the teaching college, and further into the town theatre, the civil guard building, and the working men's club. Near the old train station you can see the pink wooden building which is where his first architect office was. In those days almost every building on town was wooden - which shows what a shock his modern designs would have been! Overall the town is like a living museum of his work.
On the other side of the lake the white buildings of the university campus were designed by Aalto's pupil Sipinen.Written 29 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nismo350zWeston super Mare, UKHarry's is described as "The Old English Pub" and it does have that kind of feel of an old city centre back street boozer, but if you are looking for a familiar "pint" this isn't the place for you. I didn't recognise a single beer on offer. Nice atmos, beer was good, nice area to sit outside, so no complaints !Written 16 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SonjaJyväskylä, FinlandI've been to more than ten escape rooms in Finland, but I didn't like this one. Actually this was a mystery room, not escape room. The "story" and execution of the "Wihtorin Wintti" were not the best 🫤Written 3 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
