Hietaranta (or Hietsu as everyone calls it) is very popular on hot summer days.

Refreshments are available at a cafe with a terrace overlooking the sea.

Nearby you will find a miniature golf course and the Taivallahti Tennis Centre.

Our Low Line built like the one in New York in the space of former railroad tracks leading to the harbour is a popular shortcut for light traffic. It connects the West Harbour where ships from Estonia and Russia arrive to Töölö bay with Oodi library and Finlandia Hall. The city has been invaded by electric scooters as all of Europe so you have to watch out for them flashing past without a care of traffic regulations.

We booked a private walking tour (non touristic) 3 hours through Helsinki.
    It was absolutely perfect!!
Maria is a young student, who speaks 10 languages. Her German was perfect. She showed us Helsinki from a local perspective.
It was super interesting, a lot of fun and the perfect experience.

We highly recommend Happy Guide also to our Hotel.
This is the perfect way to get a real feeling of the city!!

I attended Bengtkär lighthouse and Turku archipelago trips and both of them were very well organized and showed the best of Finland. Bengtskär was a magical place not only because it’s an amazing building but also due to its fascinating history and hundreds of eiders nesting on the island. Food was super delicious and fresh at all restaurants we visited during excursions.

Sailing in Turku archipelago was really fun and we had even chance to compete against each other. Relaxing in sauna and jacuzzi were well deserved after the exciting competition.

I can warmly recommend Norman Travels, since they have selected very good destinations and high-quality partners for their excursions.

Tomas provided us with an incredible visit to Finland. He drove us through the countryside, showed us where he lived and told us about the rural life in Finland. We had a great visit at the quaint little town of Porvoo. We went back to Helsinki where we had a fresh lunch at the fishmarket and did some sight seeing and shopping. Tomas was very accommodating and made sure we saw everything we could in the amount of time we had. We had lots of great conversations about the effects of global warming in this area and he showed us much more than expected. Thanks for a great visit!!! Highly recommended!

We arrived in Helsinki for a day and wanted to cycle. We found Stadi online and thought it would be easy to find. Helsinki is undergoing lots of construction and it made it difficult to navigate on foot. We finally located the store and had around 3-4 hours. Luis the owner was so helpful and accommodating. We were given directions and recommendations. We LOVED cycling on the amazing trail keeping us away from busy roads. We were given a lock allowing us to stroll in the downtown area. Bikes were all in great condition allowing us to see another side of Helsinki. I read in a review that Luis delivered bikes to other visitors who planned ahead! I'd encourage anyone to rent bikes from this shop!

We had 3 hour ride with SaunaBoat. The experience was really unique even for a Finns who had seen lots of saunas. Five star trip when you bring your best friends, beverage and some sausage.
