- simonehoare16 contributionsThis tour is a must! The hike was spectacular, with amazing views and Jeff is very knowledgeable which made it also educational. The Finnish sauna is definitely worth doing and whilst the Lake was pretty cold in October you still have to give it a go. The food Jeff cooked on the hike was also great and quite filling. This was a great day out and I'd definitely recommend it. - Svartstrom F1 contributionThe weather was beautiful for our float. The service was top notch from start to finish. We had a private driver pick us up at our hotel which made the logistics very easy. We met up with the rest of the group at the float spot. It would have been fun to have been able to be in a bigger opening of water, but the conditions didn't allow for it that day and we certainly appreciated that the Redrib crew was concerned first about our safety. The gear was neatly organized, and we quickly were ready in our suits. We didn't feel rushed and got to enjoy the float as long as we wanted. A taxi came to take us back to Helsinki and was able to accommodate different drop off locations. - BethWillingdon, UK4 contributionsFabulous hike through the woods! The walk is pretty easy going and the terrain quite flat (depending on how much snow I suppose) and the guides were extremely knowledgable, friendly and helpful.
The little camp that you arrive at to have lunch is beautiful as it is set by a frozen lake. Also it is worth mentioning that there are non-flushing toilets at the comp (as hadn’t noticed many other reviews pointing this out and I had wondered this myself!).
Overall a great experience to see a bit more of Finland and would recommend to everyone staying in Helsinki :)

- Raphael F2 contributionsWe joined the guided tour through Nuuksio National Park and enjoyed a pleasant autumn hike through the forest. Our guide Szabi was very knowledgeable and not only introduced us to to the Finnish taiga forest, showing us edible berries, mushrooms and how to make a fire without matches/lighter but also told us about the Finnish way of life and the history of the country. The sauna was peaceful and the trip was beautiful. We can even say we got to do a cold plunge in the Baltic Sea!
