It was quite cold (as you would expect in January) but it ended up being very nice despite that (layer up!). Luckily we ended up having a private tour and it was great to hear from Jeff all about the National Park we went to given how knowledgeable he was in regards to the nature right down to the bird life, types of berries that grow (tasting included) as well as mushrooms! The walk around the Forrest was lovely & we enjoyed the Campfire lunch that Jeff cooked up overlooking the frozen lake. A highlight was the Finnish Smoked Sauna as well as cold water plunge. We could see the passion that Jeff has for what he does and it was lovely to hear about how he and his partner Kiia have built their business.
We would certainly recommend taking this tour as part of the Finnish experience when staying in Helsinki.
