Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Niels RLondon, UK2 contributionsWe've done similar guided kayaking tours but this was one of the best. Tiina, our guide, was engaging, knowledgeable and made everyone feel included despite the differences in kayaking experience in the group. Her safety and paddling technique briefing at the start was excellent. Although we had kayaked before this tour is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience. Our group managed to kayak quite a distance, despite the fact that there was some wind. And Tiina was considerate enough about the weather conditions on the day, that we used an alternative, sheltered start point.
We appreciated the water and snack given by the tour as our trip ran over lunchtime.
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This time we scheduled a bike tour with Happy Guide Helsinki and what a difference in our perspective of Helsinki. Philipe did a really great job showing us the highlights of Helsinki! He provide a great overview/history. Also loved that he was constantly looking back to make sure everyone in our group was was doing okay. I've been on tours where the guide just takes off and doesn't look back - that makes for a bad experience. Philipe was a great guide - would definitely recommend him!Written 19 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Navigate482589861721 contributionThank you so much for the great tour! We learned a lot about the city and the people and got a great overview. The tour was very entertaining and fun. She also gave us some great suggestions on where to go for drinks and clubbing. I would book a tour with Maddalena again any time.Written 26 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shelley N45 contributionsMy husband and I did the "Helsinki E-Bike Tour for Cruise Passengers." It was three hours. Our guide met us at the cruise terminal and walked with us to the bikes nearby. We were joined by one other couple.
We were a pretty short group but he had sized the bikes perfectly for us. Helmet fit me well. He also had gloves for us which were appreciated. It was a little cold and the handlebars wear on the hands a little.
The bikes were easy to learn how to use. None of us had difficulties operating them. There were lots of separate bike lanes away from traffic which I liked. Only occasionally did we need to venture into the street with the cars but never felt unsafe.
Lots of great sights of the Baltic Sea, some local sights, and parks. There was some really pretty park areas with a lot of trees that made me wish for a GoPro. We had two stops for snacks / bathrooms. Cubicle-dweller is my normal lifestyle so the motor assist was greatly appreciated in the last hour of the ride!Written 14 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The weather was very hot but, with the breeze cooling us as we cycled, a much better way of seeing everything than one of those buses or even walking! - Gisa L.1 contributionI loved the tour!
I could see Helsinki and Espoo from a different perspective. Something one don't get if they aren't a local.
It was a great activity for a team building day.
