Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I recently booked a food walking tour in Helsinki with Happy Guide Helsinki and had a wonderful time! Karri was an amazing guide and educated us on Finland’s history and culture as we sampled traditional foods. We even learned more about the Moomin characters which quickly became one of our favorite things about Finland. Karri was very responsive via email and answered all of my questions. He even met us at our hotel to start the tour. Thank you Karri!

Our family of three did the "Helsinki by Kayak" guided tour of about 3 hours' length. We've done a very tiny bit of kayaking before on very calm waters, but are pretty close to being beginners, so we can say that this tour is (as they say in their promo materials) perfectly suitable for those with little or no kayaking experience. Aniinna was our guide and she was fantastic, very friendly, informative, and watching out for how we were doing at all times.

The tour started on the body of water near the "Long Bridge," just in front of the Botanical Garden, went west under a railroad bridge into a bigger bay with fantastic views of downtown Helsinki buildings, then we went east into other bays, beached on a small city island for a snack (which they provided) and bathroom break, and paddled into slightly more industrial parts which was fun too. Other than when the weather got a bit rainy and windy near the end requiring us to paddle a little harder, the waters were generally super gentle and easy to glide around.

This tour gives you a wonderful perspective on the city that you can't experience in any other way. The waters in and around Helsinki are so integral to the geography and the very nature of the city that you will come to a deeper "feeling" for the city if you participate in this tour. For our family I can say we will never forget this experience. And again, we are pretty close to being kayaking rookies. Natura Viva seems like a great outfit, run by folks with a great love for their land and the desire to share that with visitors.

We were in Helsinki for a family gathering with our two grown daughters for 10 days. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole visit, but the morning bicycle tour with HELtours was the highlight of the trip. Riku was a fabulous guide who knew the city well. He asked us where we had already been in Helsinki, and customized the tour to bring us to some interesting places we had not seen. The bicycles were very comfortable and easy to ride. They had a large carrier for your belongings. Helsinki is flat and well designed for bicycle travel, so we did not need to travel the city streets very much. Riku was very personable and shared stories with us. We all had a smile on our face at the end of the tour.

My wife and I had a wonderful time being guided by Maddalena to some of Kallio's hidden corners, enjoying superb food and drink in locations known to the locals. We saw and learned a lot about the area, and also about Helsinki and Finland - both its history and its current affairs. Maddalena is great company, and very knowledgeable, and we were so grateful to her for tailor-making the tour specially for us. We came away with many happy memories: the tour was a major highlight during our 5-day visit to Helsinki. Thank you!

My husband and I did the "Helsinki E-Bike Tour for Cruise Passengers." It was three hours. Our guide met us at the cruise terminal and walked with us to the bikes nearby. We were joined by one other couple.

We were a pretty short group but he had sized the bikes perfectly for us. Helmet fit me well. He also had gloves for us which were appreciated. It was a little cold and the handlebars wear on the hands a little.

The bikes were easy to learn how to use. None of us had difficulties operating them. There were lots of separate bike lanes away from traffic which I liked. Only occasionally did we need to venture into the street with the cars but never felt unsafe.

Lots of great sights of the Baltic Sea, some local sights, and parks. There was some really pretty park areas with a lot of trees that made me wish for a GoPro. We had two stops for snacks / bathrooms. Cubicle-dweller is my normal lifestyle so the motor assist was greatly appreciated in the last hour of the ride!

    I loved the tour!
I could see Helsinki and Espoo from a different perspective. Something one don't get if they aren't a local.
It was a great activity for a team building day.
    Bikes are fabulous!

A fantastic tour with Serge who took us through the entire city. The weather was very hot but, with the breeze cooling us as we cycled, a much better way of seeing everything than one of those buses or even walking! Definitely to be recommended
