It was -3 degrees outside, so it was very relaxing to enjoy the time in sauna and outside pool. - jordanellie41Longridge, UK1,274 contributionsFrom it’s exterior upon approach, this stadium looks more like a hotel and not like anything I’ve seen before watching world football. It’s features giving that impression are the wooden looking roof. You can walk all the way around the stadium, and on one side it has a steeple like feature complete with its 1952 Olympic coloured rings. Inside it’s a nice stadium for its size although I found the seating and floor signs rather confusing. The biggest problem is there’s far too many columns that obstruct your view and certain sections are not under cover, which is strange given how bad Finnish weather can be. The leisure pool with cascading showers and jacuzzi is situated by high windows with outside scenery. Also we liked that students have a possibility to have a discount. - 266opHelsinki, Finland52 contributionsForget the new Allas -pool or the Stadium swimming pools, those are often busy, loud and full of posers. Kumpula pools are well kept, clean and popular with local families. Plenty of room for laying on grass and enjoying a sunny day. Also has basketball court and beach volleyball court + gym. On sunny days the ticket lines get very long and move slowly, go get in early! (on weekends between klo 10-13.00 usually the longest lines).

They have advanced timing systems and profiles for drivers so you can monitor your progress and get your lap times recorded.
They host special events like endurance races etc. which I haven't tried but they sound like fun!

I contacted the curling hall through their website - which offers 2 hours of curling plus demonstration for €170. As we'd done it before we instead made a 2 hour booking for €120 - good value for a single lane with 4+ people playing. The facilities are fairly basic, but shoes and brooms are included in the price, and there's a fridge with water/changing rooms you can use. - Adventure121477100811 contributionGreat way to compete and have fun with your friends or co-workers. Fun versions and mix-ups of classic team sports in a way that requires less physicality. The place has additional option of sauna and lounge after games and the facility for that was amazing.
