Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were a group of 6, most with at least some escape experience, and there was still enough of stuff to do.

We got tickets for this because we had limited time in the city and wanted to do a fun, quick activity. We did the flying tour of Finland and really enjoyed it, it was great to learn more about the country and see other places we might want to visit. Fun for kids and big kids alike!

Although we managed to escape only in our dreams, we were comforted by the fact that we solved our way up to the very last puzzle 😎🧠 Highly recommended!

Staff was extremely enthusiastic and the whole experience was one of the best escape rooms I've been in.

The fact that Hotel Katajanokka actually is a former Helsinki county prison renovated with loving care into a lifestyle hotel really adds to the experience. Well done!

Great experience! The arena is quite big and has two different floors and three bases. Maximum number of players is 32 which gives you plenty of targets! One round lasts 20 minutes but that goes by quickly so it's recommended to play to two games in a row.

    Tips:
    - make sure you destroy both enemy bases (+ 2000 points each)
    - upstairs corner near the blue base is an excellent spot to tag lots of people
    - move sideways
    - work in pairs
    - shoot people through the floors from above
    - communicate verbally to warn and guide your teammates
    - keep shooting the target until its lights go out
    - if you have time, first shoot enemy's gun or shoulders 1-2 times and then to the chest/back for maximum points
    - you can use your teammate as a shield who has their vest turned off (has just been shot)
    - when your vest is off, walk to the enemy and trick them verbally "quick, cover me! they are coming from there *point somewhere*". Then move behind them and tag them.
    - don't care about accuracy - if you see an enemy, keep blasting!
    - when your vest is off, use the time to find a better spot (quickly!)

Really cool indoor playground. Tons of things to keep the kids engaged and free wi fi. We went on a weekday morning in June so it was not crowded at all. Trampolines were a big hit. Enclosed toddler area had lots of engaging things including a walk on piano.
The place just kept going - basketball and football in the back of the play area, foam cannons up top and lots of different slides including an inter tube one. My daughter had a blast.
It was a little tough to find - we asked at the market and we had to follow the signs for a gym. (In all fairness I can't read Finnish so maybe the sign has the info - but if you call yourself Helsinki Playground - please put that on the sign above ground.) 😊

This is an indoor "playground" perfect for kids from 3 to 14 years. Very clean, plenty of things to do. You can buy an entrance ticket with or without climbing pass. With kids adults enter for free. There is also a restaurant inside offering small snack. We will go again!

    + Selection
    + Service

    - Location
    - Refreshments

The arcades are a dying breed and I miss them, so when I found out about this place I knew I had to go there. As you might have guessed from the name, the arcade focuses on Japanese games, which is cool.
The location is bad, if I hadn't known about this place in advance I wouldn't have had any idea where it is and also it is far from the nearest train stop.
    Refreshments were very limited.
I would love if they went all out with the Japanese theme, maybe some decorations and Japanese snacks. That would be awesome.

We visited Rush Helsinki on 20.11. We spent a nice day there. The Corona situation were taken into consideration well and we felt safe. Also we liked that students have a possibility to have a discount. Overall, it was a great experience!

By a long distance better than any soft play area we’ve been to in the uk. Its more akin to play areas that large amusement parks have. Genuinely an excellent soft play for anyone from 1-10. There’s a large number of slides all very different and inventive. Not sure if we caught it at a strange time being a Saturday at the start of the Finnish holidays but the place was pretty quiet the entire time we were there which meant that you basically end up with free rein which you would never get in the uk. We would definitely go again and would highly recommend for a rainy day. Adults get in free which is always a plus!

Excellent time to spend few hours. They have a small bar in the premises too, though they are not a bar -- but you can take a beer while throwing axes (which is always a big plus). The staff is friendly (and can speak english) and can teach anyone to hit a target with axes of a knife.

Though the name implies about throwing axes, they do have knife throwing available too.

The range is located in the ramp of the underground parking so it's quite hard to find at first, but when you get there - the architecture is also interesting. Basically the place is built into an underground bomb shelter which is unique to Finnish urban planning. In the case of immediate threat of crisis, the place would be emptied within hours and the location where you now can enjoy a beer and throw axes, would be probably reserved for beds so people could sleep even in the case of bombing.

Nice place although the track isn't very long. Some cars seem to have faulty brakes. They have advanced timing systems and profiles for drivers so you can monitor your progress and get your lap times recorded.

They host special events like endurance races etc. which I haven't tried but they sound like fun!

    Overall highly recommended!
