    Beautiful renovated stadium
    Renovated with good taste, everything works. Historic building got new better life after restoration and is again good place for sports and concerts.

    So much fun!
    We were a group of 6, most with at least some escape experience, and there was still enough of stuff to do.

    One of the best
    Definitely one of the best escape rooms in Helsinki! We have been in 3 rooms and will go again. Every room has been different, very clever and surprising puzzles and also service was very good! I strongly recommend this place.

    Spa experience
    It is now possible to enjoy all the amenities of the most prominent swimming complex in town as the past regulations have been abolished. I begin my spa day in the misty hammam, proceed to the large panoramic jacuzzi with several water showers before doing my laps in the Olympic pool. The cycle is ended by a quick dip to the +6 degree Celsius coldwater spot followed by the hotter sauna. All the calories shed will be replaced by coffee and pastry in the Uppopulla cafeteria overlooking the whole hall.

    Great Sunday activity...
    ... on a cold or a rainy day.
    Not too crowded.
    There are walls from beginners to experts.
    Equipment is for loan, which is good.
    One star dropping is because it’s a little bit to expensive.

    For the sunny days in Helsinki
    Forget the new Allas -pool or the Stadium swimming pools, those are often busy, loud and full of posers. Kumpula pools are well kept, clean and popular with local families. Plenty of room for laying on grass and enjoying a sunny day. Also has basketball court and beach volleyball court + gym. On sunny days the ticket lines get very long and move slowly, go get in early! (on weekends between klo 10-13.00 usually the longest lines).
    The kiosk offers some basic snacks, ice cream, drinks and fast food.

    Excellent for everyone
    Excellent shooting range with a lot of different kind of rental firearms for every user. Instructors are friendly an accomodate to every kind of person - even if you're a total novice or experienced with different guns.

    Fun and something different!
    We got tickets for this because we had limited time in the city and wanted to do a fun, quick activity. We did the flying tour of Finland and really enjoyed it, it was great to learn more about the country and see other places we might want to visit. Fun for kids and big kids alike!

    Best place to take the kids in bad weather
    HopLop in general is a very good place to take your kids when the weather sucks. The Lanterna Hoplop itself is the best of them all.

    It's a warehouse-sized large space, maybe 400 square meters in total, made of communicating cubes where kids travel, climb, hop, slide, bounce, fall through and swing by to get from one place to the other. There's rooms full of balls to swim in, elastic floors that you drop through, a huge toboggan where you can slide down on a tube, trampolins to bounce on, bumpy things, slippery things, foamy things and climby things! And this is not one floor; these cube rooms are stacked 4-high so we're talking around 1200+ cubic meters of fun and discovery all in one spot

    And there's a "volcano" you can climb up and then slide down the middle (fun for climbers of all ages).

    One of the most fun things you can do as an adult in HopLop is go look for your kid and get lost in there yourself.

    The cost is high but the place in this case is worth it. You pay €15 for each child, though parents don't pay. There's a café with a restaurant that caters to small people's tastes, though they do have coffee and refreshments and well, the food is Finland healthier food, even if it's for kids.

    They also have several private rooms that you can rent for parties: a princess room (yikes), a pirate room, and a disco room. You can book the room and special food and items for the kids. The room rental includes free use of Hoplop and every kid gets a discount coupon for another visit.

    There's a decent parking lot right outside and it's free.

    Dinner Party
    Excellent game full of surprises! Challenging, as first timers we didn't make it through the game but we got close enough to feel accomplished. Experience was better than expected. Time really flew by. Game master was great and we were happy with the hints and their timing.

    InsideOut Jail Escape at Katajanokka
    Although we managed to escape only in our dreams, we were comforted by the fact that we solved our way up to the very last puzzle 😎🧠 Highly recommended!

    Staff was extremely enthusiastic and the whole experience was one of the best escape rooms I've been in.

    The fact that Hotel Katajanokka actually is a former Helsinki county prison renovated with loving care into a lifestyle hotel really adds to the experience. Well done!
