My layover in Helsinki Finland became an unexpected first visit to Finland but as I only had 48 hours I had to make the most of my valuable time. I booked the VIP tour and Igor and Christine took me in absolute luxury to all the amazing slight seeing places.
Medieval Porvoo, Olympic Stadium, rock Church and many many more.

    Friendly, knowledgeable and exceptional service!!

Highly recommended!!! Thank you Igor & Christine 😊

My wife and I decided to do the Hop On Hop Off Red line tour because we only had about 6 to 7 hours to experience Helsinki. We picked it up at the Cruise Dock Area and some of the stops we got off were at the Rock Church, City Central near the Art Deco Railway Station, and the Senate Square. You have many choices and can see a lot of the city this way. We also had done these type of HO-HO buses in Barcelona and in Talinn, Estonia. We would recommend this mode of transportation in a heartbeat as since we are in our 60's it keeps our amount of walking to a manageable amount.

I used SPB and the tours through Norwegian cruise line and I much prefer SPB. They used audio receiver and headphones so we could still hear our guide Peter anywhere. This allowed me to take pictures and not miss out on information. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites. Initially I was worried about missing the cruise ship using an independent tour group, but they are very well organized and always aware of the time

What started as disappointment when my travel companions got stuck in Dallas after cancelled flights, turned into an extraordinary experience. Helsinki Tour was very accommodating as we first changed our dates at the last minute, making sure we were not charged penalties for ferry changes and then made sure that a taxi was available to transport to the ferry in Helsinki. The tour turned into a private one as my friends missed it. My tour guide, Roman was very knowledgeable and provided so much information about the fascinating city of Tallinn and the Estonia in general. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the complex history of this area and are looking forward to seeing one of the best preserved walled cities in Europe.

Jeff is a very good guide, he communicates the Finnish tradition through simple but significant things: sauna, barbecues, Finnish food and drinks. Really recommend if you are looking for such experiences, especially when you don't have enough time to be fully immersed into tje culture. Thanks Jeff!

An amazing experience! The guide had a very contagious enthusiasm for nature and the outdoors. He was super kind and helpful. He even took the time to do some extra for us. The hike was amazing aswel. A beautiful walk trough the Finnish wilderness with beautiful views. Do yourself a favor and do not miss this experience!

I was in Helsinki, alone, for four days, in October 2018. I took this tour and I loved it. So, when I was in Helsinki with my wife, for a week in September 2019, we did this together. When I did this tour in 2018, the stop was at the Rock Church. When I did this with my wife in 2019, the stop was at the Sibelius Monument. I am really glad, because it is impossible to see the Rock Church properly in just about ten minutes, and I had to make a second trip later to see it properly!! Whereas the Sibelius monument can easily be seen in ten minutes, as the bus stops right next to it. So, one bit of advice, IF POSSIBLE, take the tour on a day when the stop is at the Sibelius monument. Phone in advance, or ask your hotel front desk to do it for you. This tour is free with the Helsinki Card. Be a few minutes early, and sit on top. You don't get much of a view from the lower deck! The audio guide is good. The starting point at Esplanade Park is a bit difficult to find, ask someone! Everyone in Helsinki speaks English, and everyone is so helpful and polite. So, don't be shy to ask!

I and my friends had an one-day visit to Helsinki and were able to go by Stromma's "Hop On - Hop Off Bus Citysightseeing Helsinki" and "Urban Helsinki Bus Sightseeing" tours. Both are great tours.

"Hop On - Hop Off Citysightseeing Helsinki" is of course a more flexible way to discover Helsinki if you want to combine the day with many other things. Comfortable buses, audio devices working well, I preferred English audio language instead of the Swedish even I'm Swedish, nicer voice.

For those who likes design and architectural history I would recommend the "Urban Helsinki Bus Sightseeing" - a 1:45hr tour of Helsinki’s architectural history, the city’s modern residential areas, the urban districts and the historical areas, as well a 45-minute stop at the Iittala and Arabia Design Centre & Museum.

Stromma does offer several other various tours within and around Helsinki. In the common all of the tours have friendly Stromma staff. Also when getting in contact by phone or mail my experience is that they're friendly and do help out with any questions.

Also Stromma will organize a live guided tour on Christmas Day. Maybe Stromma will bring Santa Claus?
