Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nuuksio is a great park suitable as for families with kids (short routes from 2 km) and for people without kids (routes up to 8 km). Nature is beautiful as everywhere in Finland.

There are also some open places for grill but keep in mind that they are usually occupied within popular hours so take a sandwich just in case :)

Kaitalampi in Espoo is the perfect forest area and lake to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital area in Finland. Only about 35 minutes from Helsinki, Kaitalampi lake in Luukki recreation area provides nice trails and several cooking shelters for spending a day outdoors.

As someone who has travelled to many places around the world, i can easily say this is the most hands on and exhilarating experience i have ever had. This isn't simply sitting in a sled and getting driven around, it's completely hands on. Tapio, the wonderful and friendly Head Musher, showed us how to operate the sleds and introduced us to some of his many dogs, handing them to us directly by the lead, to connect them ourselves to the sled before heading out on the adventure of a lifetime through some of the Earth's most magical scenery.

Not only is the ride an incredible experience, but witnessing Tapio's connection with his dogs is an experience in itself; they truly are his family, his blood flows through their veins. They are all so well looked after and loved, and a joy to be around. (Nimba is my favourite).

Towards the end of the ride, we all sat down and enjoyed some traditional finnish food by a campfire, and talked about our own adventures and learned much about Finland and its culture from Tapio (who speaks better English than most English people!)

All in all, it was an unforgettable experience, that i would recommend to absolutely anyone.

Perfect place to spend 3 h with friends and kids. The easiest routes are suitable from abt 6 yrs, whereas the black more demanding routes were challenging for a sporty 11 year old.

What should I wear ? Jogging shoes, andnfitting clothes. In the summer shorts and t-shirt probably a good choice.

Do I have to be fit and agile to enjoy this ? Not really, just open minded and not afraid of hights. The routes’ heights vary from 1 1/2 meter up to 18 m. A little bit scary for some, but you feel safe all the time.

Friendly staff. Expect to pay 100 euros for 2 adults & 2 kids.
