You will also often find a market happening outside as well. We actually travelled there on the City road Train owned by and operating to the Vauhtipuisto Children's Amusement Park, which is very near the beach. The beach has a number of entertainment facilities and refreshment kiosks. You find flowers, interesting trees, fountains, trails with beautiful pedestrian bridges, sitting places, cafeterias, campfire sites, statues, a playground, a summer theater, a fish ladder etc. there. Remember to visit Kiikkusaari Greenhouse, too. There was huge truck which was unique and used in hydroelectric power-plant construction sites. - MustaKissaMuonio, Finland103 contributionsWe saw only inside part due to winter. It's a very nice botanical garden - plenty of unusual and beautiful plants, many of them with flowers. Was a delight to watch it in winter because I was missing green plants and flowers.

We did not have high expectations when we entered the museum and were pleasantly surprised by the exhibition. The museum is quite big and the different sections of the museum give you a very good picture of life in Oulu region. Highly recommended.
