Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing in every way! The company is very responsive via whatsapp and gave us updates leading up to the day. Despite significant cloud cover, our guide Arsène was knowledgeable and drove us south where we managed to see the lights! He also took good care of us throughout the trip. On the way back, he continued to look out for the lights and unexpectedly we were rewarded with a beautiful dancing light show by the roadside. Go with these guys if you want to have a good chance of seeing the lights!

This was our first tour with Beyond Artic, which was selected by our travel agency AMEX/A&K. We did not know in advance that Beyond Artic distinguishes itself by taking high-quality photos during the adventures. But afterwards we were super enthusiastic about it. I am a hobby photographer, but taking photos at -20 degrees with a complex professional camera turned out to be too much of a challenge for me. Fantastic when a professional photographer takes on that challenge.

The tour started with a 5-10 minute ride in the reindeer sleigh, after my wife (dressage rider) had attached the animal to the sleigh on the instructions of the guide. Afterwards we were given a hot drink and we could ask our countless questions to the guide. This was incredibly interesting and incredibly educational. For example, we learned that antlers grow bigger every year and that each antler starts in a softer and therefore relatively vulnerable form. And that the antlers of a female - so mother - reindeer remain longer than those of the males, so that the females are able to more easily conquer food for themselves and their offspring. It was also interesting to know that the reindeer are released 'into the wild' in the spring and are tracked down again in the fall. Afterwards we were allowed to feed the reindeer. Super cool to get such great photos of that afterwards! Jana: you were great!

An amaizing experience, we had the pleasure to met Chevo, unfortunately only for the pick up time, he also gave us a "small tour" of Rovaniemi on the way to the meeting point.. After he left us in the Amin's hands, such a lovely guys. It was a cloudy night, but he never gave up to give us even a short time of glory to find the aurora, he drove for about 7/8 ours to made that happening. We've been really happy for the experience and one thing i will never forget was the passion that Amin putted in to it, how he worked hard for us and that attitude made everything look better than what i was, how i said it was cloudy and we didn't see that much, but in the end i was satisfied, my girlfriend too. Thanks again for the experience.. for sure we will come back in the future, off course in a different season to enjoy at 100% the auorora... 👏

This was AMAZING! I went on tours with two different companies while I was in Lapland, and this operation felt much more organized, thoughtful and professional

We met in town at the office, they offered us everything we needed as part of the tour (Camera Tripod, extra warm Jumpsuit, Boots, thick socks, etc.) I took everything they offered in the car incase I got cold, and was glad I used their boots, we were walking through snow.

We drove 40 mins north to a private area on a hill with a fire pit and a hut, took photos of the most gorgeous lights display, our guide helped advise us on camera settings / any issues people were having, took pictures of us with his camera, and cooked sausages for the group (including a veggie option for those who wanted).

Be prepared for a cold and long night, and definitely check the forecast to make sure the lights are going to be out. But if you're prepared, highly recommend!

We went on the Half day safari which included our lunch. Our guide Yovan was excellent & took our safety seriously while showing us the beautiful winter wonderland. Lunch was delicious & in a warm & stunning restaurant in the woods. There was only another couple & we all ride motorcycles so experience was to our advantage for a great ride. The only negative is the tracks are quite rutty & the helmets aren’t heated so the screen kept freezing up so we had to ride with them open & even with 2 balaclavas & a snood, 2 of us got frostbite/ burn on our cheeks. Suggestion to the company is to purchase the heated helmets & give customers the option to pay for hire as an upgrade if they choose too. It’s a safety issue in my opinion.

Well organized, the guide was excellent ,there was a lot of waiting but always something to do for the kids . There just seems to many people at the same time. There rides are very short but enough for small kids , they have longer rides available if you want . I would call this the instagram tour , you get to do everything in a few hours with plenty of picture opportunities .

Thought the guide would take us further to get more of Aurora, also the photographs not good, many photos blurry and the aurora not captured well. Better using our own phone LOL. Anyway, appreciate our tour guide, maybe she’s tired already as December must be very busy.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour!! The company provided transportation to/from where we were staying as well as winter overalls, making it more convenient for us who are not from the area or the cold. The tour itself completely exceeded our expectations with the incredible views, well-trained dogs, friendly staff, and we even got to enjoy a traditional Finnish BBQ and some sledding afterward!

If someone is reading this review, I highly recommend you book through Arctic GM because this experience was unbeatable and we will be talking about it the rest of our lives!

While this tour agent doesn’t seem as popular as others in the town, but we ended up having good time as only three of us , feel like a private tour. Audrey the tour guide is good in helping us to take pictures with appropriate lighting. We saw Aurora and very happy with the service and good value for money for the tour!

It was a cloudy day but the weather forecast said the clouds would be gone after 10. The tour started at 10:30 and we could see the beautiful aurora. It was truly an amazing experience. Thank you for the wonderful spots and photos u took us! Happy New Year

We did the Riisitunturi Wilderness tour with Juho in Jan ‘24 and we had the most amazing day in that magical place. What a breathtakingly beautiful NP! As you walk further in you become more and more wowed by the stunning scenery.
Our guide for the day was Juho and he was full of information all about the park and local flora and fauna along the way and he really was the utmost professional who made the trip a lot more enjoyable.
It’s a 2 hour drive to the park from Rovaniemi and then you hike up to Riisitunturi and have Finnish sausages cooked over the fire with hot berry juice to warm you up. The hike up and back is roughly 5km and fairly easy.
This tour really has been the highlight of our trip so far so thank you Beyond Artic and Juho, hopefully we will be back again!!

Amazing!! Great snowmobile tour. All equipment supplied, clear instructions and well catered for all skill levels. The track was nice and close to Rovamami so the commute time only 15 minutes or so. Great day out!

Great excursion! Driver was friendly and accommodating. At each spot you’ll get to visit with the animals . You’ll feed the reindeer & go for a short sleigh ride; same with huskies - take a quick sleigh ride, then visit pet the dogs. Then the farm guides give a short talk on the reindeer / huskies while you enjoy a hot juice and snacks. Santa’s village is a quick guided tour and then free time to explore at your leisure. Visit Santa, send a post card, grab lunch ( reservations strongly recommended), and grab some souvenirs. Overall a great experience .

BEAUTIFUL hike in the woods to 3 different waterfalls. This was a highlight of our trip. Ignacio did a wonderful job leading us and we had lots of fun. I felt like we were walking through Narnia. Highly recommend. You do need to be able to hike about 3 miles but it was not difficult. The company provides winter gear to make it a good experience.

We had an amazing experience with Nordic Unique Travels, booked through GetYourGuide.com! The tour included an exciting 1h snowmobile safari, a charming 5-10 minute husky sled ride, and a peaceful reindeer sled experience.

A huge thank you to Jonas and Camille, who were absolutely wonderful! They were super friendly, always smiling, and made sure everything was perfect.

If you’re planning a trip to Lapland, I highly recommend this agency with no hesitation. It was a magical day, and we couldn’t have asked for better guides!
