The waterfalls are exceptional and we had the best weather ever to see them. Our tour guide was Gabor and he adjusted the trip to our interests and possibilities. We were a small group of only 4 and reached right below the waterfalls.
    Amazing tour!
Thank you for safe travel back and fourth and the best day of our journey!
Corona was not an issue at our time of the stay.

We have a amazing experience, the entire team is super attentive, making the experience unforgettable. We did several tours, one better than the other, but be prepared because the cold is intense.

Alex is a great guide, this activity was amazing. The waterfalls and the whole forest are stunning. Alex show us the road and prepared for us a fire camp with hot drinks and a snack, he also gave us interesting information about this place. Totally recommend him.

It was simply beautiful. After a short ride we got to the spot. Ajda, our guide, helped us with the gear and then snowshoeing was on. It was a very pleasant hike to the little tent. Ajda encouraged us to explore around or just enjoy the view, while she set up fire, hot drinks and sausages. It was an awesome experience that I wouldn't mind doing again.

I did four tours with Wild About Lapland and every one of them was an absolute joy. I felt really well taken care of and our guide Gábor was excellent. Knowing I was travelling on my own he offered to take photos of me which I so appreciated. He also gave us great insights into the local culture and waited right up to the end of the night so we had the best chance of seeing the northern lights. Cannot recommend Wild About Lapland and Gábor enough, thank you for the amazing time!

Chris, our guide was super nice and helpful, he told us a lot of interesting information on the way to the top of the hill from where we got a wonderful view of the Taiga. This excursion is a valuable alternative to what other tour operators can offer you and it is a really good way to reconnect with the nature and discover Finland.
This was our second tour with this agency and we were really happy for their professionalism and kindness: the staff always tries their best to make your experience unforgettable :)
    Amazing trip, thanks Chris!!

I did several tours with this company and all were amazing.
Nordic Odyssey's staff is in general really good, efficient and friendly. Our guide was very friendly and fun but also knowledgeable and careful about our wellbeing.
Thank you Hervé for making this hike down the canyon possible and amazing!

It was a beautifull hike around the canyon, of 6 km. Nice lunch incl. around the firepit (sausages and tea) ! Egor gave us a nice guidedtour with enough stops. If you are up for it, you should walk up to one of the waterfalls, amazing view!
Sometimes the trail was a little steep, so if you are not that fit you should ask if it is possible for you. Via whatsapp very good to communicate about everything!
Definitely recommend this tour, it's different to the other experiences here.

For my trip to Rovaniemi I booked separately flights from Milan and a Hotel, and then I chose Safartica from Italy as their website was really clear and it's possible to book each experience you want to have, with clear details and prices.
They're so professional, starting from clothes: the price for each experience included all equipment you need as suits, gloves, shoes, wool socks; but remember that with -20 degrees you need to have good layers under suits, please don't go to Rovaniemi with blue jeans!!).
All was well organized with private transfers for small groups, we tried ice fishing with motorbikes (the one I like most), reindeer visit and Santa Claus Village (too commercial).

We loved our evening with Jordi who took me and my husband on a snowshow hike. It was a beautiful evening but sadly no Northern lights to be found, however we still had a fantastic evening. Jordi took us too an amazing spot up a hill where we could look over the town, we made a fire and sat eating Cinnamon buns and roasting marshmallows.
The snow shoe hike was really enjoyable and it was great walking through really deep snow. Jordi went above and beyond and when we couldn't find any lights up the hill he took us to the frozen lake to try our luck. Sadly the weather gods did not play ball but we really appreciated the extra effort. Thanks for the fantastic evening Jordi!

Miguel is a nice guide to show us around the Vikakongas. The hiking lasts for 3-4 hours, which requires a certain amount of stamina since walking in snow is not easy. You should really carefully consider your physical condition before choosing it. Nevertheless, the view we had was totally worth the money and effort. Hiking in enchanted forest with nobody around was simply fascinating, and the white view of landscape was fabulous. We took many good photos and had a wonderful time, so do consider this trip in daytime if you visit Rovaniemi.

We booked the 2 days packages, that includes 4 different tours (Ranua park, renders farm, wilderness hiking and 2 Norther lights tour).

We were in family with our 6 years old daughter and they adapted the wilderness tour to make it possible for her.
It was an amazing experience, about all, the wilderness tour, where we live an incredible experience in a beautiful and peaceful environment.

We were not lucky to see the Northern lights, due to weather conditions. It was cloudy both nights. But thanks to that,we have a reason to back to Lapland.

We recommend Wild About Lapland 100% for anyone that wants to live a great experience in Lapland. The are really nice people, and very good guides.
