Also, picked/dropped us up from/at our hotel, provided snacks and a warm drink after the viewing.

Even if we did not see them, he was an experience in itself to listen to him. He has gone above and beyond my expectations to find us the northern lights! Thank you Finn, you have created some beautiful memories for a long time! There was very little chance to see the northern lights in Finland so we drove to Sweden and luck was on our side. We had a show for 90 mins before the clouds came back. Great food and amazing snowmobile ride.
Slightly rushed and wasn’t explained what was happening, the lights weren’t forecast (which of course can’t be controlled) but think it changed the experience and that wasn’t communicated.
Snow mobiles for kids was listed but wasn’t offered.
Candles are around the igloo and my mums jacket set on fire, terrible accident but one to consider when sitting with lots of candles around.

The Salmon was the best we ever eat!
The Snow Mobile tour through the Forrest afterwards, was very exiting.

Firstly you don’t get a vip car you get a mini bus, there was no offer of any food or drink as advertised.
You get taken to Santa Claus village to see Santa which is free might I add
You then get a drive to Rovaniemi , to see a bridge, a church, and a frozen lake
Ridiculously overpriced for what you get and very very disappointed the only positive thing was our tour guide who tried his best to communicate with us even though we did ask for an English tour guide again as advertised
I would certainly recommend to stay well clear of this and it’s far cheaper to just get a taxi
Will be interesting to see if the tour guide takes note of this as he has my number

And on the night , right in the beginning the driver told us the chance of see northern light is very low but they not advise or offer to change so we went ahead. We did not get to see any northern light. The next night we had a dinner in glass igloo with them booked too and there was supposed to have kids snow mobile included which they did not have ready that night. As we had a free day the next day they asked if we would like to book ice fishing with them too and the kids can have snow mobile the next day, so we did. They did not give any invoice, confirmation or agreement. The next day the driver was late for 20 mins and when we’re express displeasure he insisted that booking was for 10AM and not 9:30AM and chased us out of van. The staff promised that full refund will be provided within an hour but in the end the office only gave half and that was after 2 chaser and 6 hours later. When questioned they said they gave a lot of of BS excuse. Our private tour seamlessly wove together an aurora excursion, dog sleigh ride, snowshoe adventure, and ice fishing, creating a rich tapestry of Arctic experiences that exceeded all our expectations.
The highlight was, of course, the aurora tour. Watching the northern lights dance in a clear, star-studded sky felt almost surreal. The private nature of the tour meant we could truly savor the moment without distractions, and our guide’s insightful commentary deepened our appreciation of the natural wonder around us.
The dog sled ride was equally exhilarating. Cruising on the frozen lake with a team of spirited huskies was a heartwarming blend of adrenaline and connection to nature. Our guide not only ensured our safety but also shared fascinating stories about the local culture and the art of mushing, making the journey both fun and informative.
Snowshoeing through the pristine wilderness gave us a peaceful, meditative experience, allowing us to absorb the quiet beauty of the Arctic landscape at our own pace. And when it came to ice fishing, the calm and focus required was the perfect counterbalance to the day’s more energetic activities, offering us a taste of traditional Finnish recreation.
Overall, every detail was thoughtfully arranged by the Arktictopia team. Their expertise and warm hospitality transformed our adventure into a deeply personal and enriching experience.
