Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Joe L2 contributionsReally enjoyed the experience. It’s a family run business and you can see they have a passion for it!
They make you feel very safe and there are support team with you all the way.
The Husky’s are clearly well looked after.
Kids went with a guide in their own sledge and wrapped up in a sleeping bag. One fell asleep!
Will be back next year hopefully.Written 3 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had hoped to get a ride with one of the wheel sleds, but it was too warm for the dogs. We had a great time anyway. The facility was clean. The dogs are healthy, treated well, and trained well. The trainer/guide who was with us throughout our visit was very friendly, safety-minded, and very informative about the huskies they have. We started the day by spending time with the puppies and then we moved on to getting to spend time with the adults. My wife, who is not so experienced with dogs was thrilled by her experience. We will have to visit the All Huskies Kennels in the winter months and participate in one of those husky sled ride training sessions.Written 22 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tdodge7 contributionsMy husband and I took two day tours with Lappitrek when we visited Finland. I requested an easy snowshoeing tour and easy forest skiing tour, both of which were incredible! Erwan was very kind and patient (I'm not a great athlete) and we enjoyed our conversations with him. The national park that he took us to had beautiful scenery and both times we went to little hut where he cooked us a yummy snack. Both days were full of amazing memories for us.Written 7 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CIM62Leerdam, The Netherlands19 contributionsA beautiful 10 km tour through the woods, we made nice conversations with the team and Rami is a kind man with nice stories to tell. The dogs are so excited, they just want to run! The run with the dogs itself took about 50 minutes, that was a little bit fast because the conditions were very icy so the sled is running very easily. After the ride we got inside the warm shelter and they served a sausage, a cookie and warm juice. We made great photo's and pet the dogs afterwards . We had a wonderful experience and we're glad we booked at Rami. No scooter in front!Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shelly LBrisbane2 contributionsWe had a great time with Petra, who took us on a reindeer farm tour in early November. Petra was extremely knowledgable and made sure we were able to see and experience the best of Finland. Given the snow was a little unpredictable at this time of the year, she was also able to provide a list of suitable activities that we had not necessarily known about prior to our trip. We met her family, saw a traditional reindeer round up fence and fed many happy reindeers. Most importantly, her experience and knowledge about the reindeer and Levi meant that we were able to learn a lot of things during our 4 hour tour. Her home made snacks (hot teas, berry juice, savoury pie and blueberry muffins) were a treat as well! She had excellent communication with us in the lead up to our tour as well. You will have a great time with Petra on any of her company's tours!Written 8 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RickardrydellChelmsford, UK74 contributionsThis review is for the Enchanting Lapland day trip flying out of Stansted to Enontekio, with a 30 month old and a 10 year old.
At 30 months old our child was probably the youngest on the entire plane and i was called by the agent prior to being able to book to ensure i was aware that the trip may not be suitable for a child of his age. It was in the end, however not a problem but i can see how it might be for children who suffer from the cold.
Booking and all pre day communication was spot on. We received our bag containing a letter from Santa, weeks in advance. My only issue with this was we didn't know what Santa's letter said and there was no way of opening it prior to the event without the wax seal being broken. Small issue i know but if like us you were telling fibs as to why and how we were going then it was an issue.
Arrived at Stansted for a 7:30 flight. At check in we were greeted by cheery staff, handing out sweets to the kids and the magic started. On the plane, a simple meal was laid on, with complimentary tea, coffee or water. Chargeable drinks were available. Flight crew played games when service was complete but this wasn't for too long. Pilot got us in the mood, telling the kids we were being guided in by reindeer.
Upon arrival at Enontekio we were swiftly moved through passport control. After that, suiting and booting up took approximately 15 mins and was very efficient. Plenty of staff on hand to deal with any issues. We were given a bag to store all our jackets, shoes, valuables etc in whilst we were away for the day. Whilst we were advised not to bring electronics and valuables, we did and we felt these were safe.
We were loaded straight onto sledges containing about 8 people and werew taken by snow mobiles to the village which was approx 20 mins away.. This was the coldest part of the day, with wind chill being the thing that got you. We got our little guy low down and wrapped up for this part and he was fine.
In the village we immediately booked a time to go to see Santa. Once that was lined up we were free to do any of the activities, as often or for as long as we wanted for the day. We warmed up in the restaurant whilst it was quiet and planned our day.
Through the day we undertook all the activities on offer, meeting the elves, and taking in the whole day. Food was always on offer in the restaurant, a simple vegetarian pasta dish or pancakes, as was a nice warm fire.
I wont spoil the meeting santa part, but it wasn't rushed and was great.
In all, the day was all we needed. There was nothing more we would want to do and we felt the overnight stop wasn't required.
Bus back to the airport, before heading home. Yes it's a lot of money by anyones standard, but what a day. I did it 35 years ago as the child, and still remember it fondly. I hope my kids do in 35 years too.Written 19 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Kimmo and Paula are wonderful hosts, catering to our every need. Before we even arrived, Kimmo and Paula were busy coming up with an itinerary that would work the best for our family (an outdoorsy husband, a craft-and-food-loving wife, and two energetic boys with picky palates). Each meal was absolutely excellent (and to tell you the truth, I was rather surprised, since I had originally thought that Finnish food was supposed to be rather bland). We went snowshoeing, to a reindeer herd, sledging around Kaukonen, and we learned how to make Finnish treats like Pulla bread! I also was able to weave a beautiful table runner that I got to take home with me...talk about an amazing souvenir. Although we would spend hours a day with Paula, Kimmo, and Olavi, we never felt like we needed "alone" time. They were so warm and we talked about several things ranging from world events to Finnish culture to podcasts. So, yeah, this was one of my favorite trips I have ever taken. And the cherry on top of this beautiful sundae? Our very own private sauna!!! Go to mummola travels for an incredibly rewarding experience.Written 22 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
