Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Orange beach is beautiful and you can find shade under the trees just above. There is a beach bar with loud music- not to everyone’s taste- but in the trees the sound is less intrusive. There are portaloos near the bar.

It is very nice beach. We were at the end of September and a lot of coffee shops were closed. However, we really enjoyed very clean and warm water and picturesque views.

Upon arrival to Virgina Family Hotel, being told there was no room available we were moved to a sister hotel in Falaraki, which was lovely but not what we had booked! We returned to the Virginia Family Hotel and were upgraded to a pool room which was amazing 😊 Dimosh (Manager) really did exceed our expectations on return to hotel, Thankyou. The food was amazing, very varied and catered for all needs. Our room was beautiful and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The beech is a short walk, up/down a rather steep hill, but worth it 👍 visit Rhodes old town, steeped in history with lots of shops/taverns. Will definitely return to Rhodes

Very nice beach. Clear water, the beach consists of a combination of small stones, sand, and a hard underground.

On the cape, the current can be risky.

Too many kids in a shallow shole could be a bit… ‘dirty’ if you know what I mean.

However, the convenience of a restaurant nearby (Melia) and 2 food trucks selling small snacks, makes up for the downside.

Arrive by 9am and should not have trouble finding parking. I suggest park on road going into the shaded tree area to avoid traffic jam and extra insurance with car rental company 😅

Lovely blue sea, sunbeds with unberellas and sand strip not too deep so the sea is close. Bar, cafe on the beach.

My partner and I have been going to this beach two or three times yearly for over 12 years . This family run part of the beach is very clean , well set up and perfect for a long day in the sun .
Give it a go if you haven’t tried it as you will not be disappointed . We have just returned from our holiday and will definitely be back again in May .

Nice beach, quite chilled and family orientated. Rough sand and then pebbly going into the sea. Plenty of bars/restaurants with loungers you can use if you spend money on their food or drinks. Lots of free space too for your own brollies and beach mats. A few shops too. We used the loungers at Blue Sea Cafe, min spend per person £10 for a lounger. Very nice food and drinks there, friendly staff and generous portions.

Was staying at Sykia Paralia and decided to come with friends to this place after been to Portokali beach. The beach is nice, but deep after 2-3 meters. There were half meter waves, so with kids was little difficult.

A wonderful beach, there are sunbeds close to the entrance but we only bothered with these on the first day and then invested in a parasol and went further down the beach only a 5 minute walk. There are toilets at the beach which were clean with a shower to rinse off.

The water was crystal clear and really still - on one day it was like your own infinity pool with visibility across the bay. What made it for me was that some parts of the beach are shaded by the pine trees in the latter part of the day offering some relief from the strongest part of the day where UV is concerned - but then you can dip in the sea for some sun.

Getting too the beach downhill is not an issue but if you are staying in a hotel see if they offer any bus service to and from the beach as this could be problematic if you have mobility issues. The beach is partly sandy, partly shingle so you may benefit from some sand shoes as entry and exit to the water can be tricky.

At the top there is a nice restaurant and bar this again is shaded with large pine trees and a nice spot to take a refreshment break.

After Psakoudia beach, we were absolutely stunned by the beauty of the sand and crystal clear, turqoise water. The further part was not too crowded either, as opposed to the entrance where there were sunbeds and parasols, a lot of them, but ALL reserved. The staff at the cafe at the entrance was quite unfriendly. Luckily you can just pass them and move further left. Make sure to bring your own parasol, since there is no shade and no possibility to rent. This is a construction site, will probably be for two more years, but it was not loud or busy. You can buy a snack from vendors passing by. There are no toilets, except at the cafe, but not sure whether they allow to use.
The beach is definately worth a visit and good for children and adults alike, but with a parasol!!
