Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- kevlondonLondon, UK138 contributionsWe were staying at a hotel 200 metres from this beach and visited a couple of times. What a fantastic beach - warm, shallow water, soft sand, a choice of sunbeds on grass or sand, and a great bar & restaurant on site for food and drinks. It’s a popular beach for turtles to lay eggs, and when this happens the laying spot is roped off to protect the turtle eggs.Written 31 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travel BlogLondon, UK178 contributionsI hired a car and toured the island , stopping off at numerous ports and places of interest.
I stumbled on this gem of a tranquil place. A small beach with beautiful white sand.
Off the beaten track -it was quite quiet.
There is a restaurant overlooking the bay-beautiful scenery.
I didn’t eat at the restaurant-but the menu looked varied and at a reasonable price.

You need beach shoes as it’s stoned when entering the water.
The sand up the beach was fine and clean. We were at Venus beach bar and paid €15 for two sun beds and a brolly table.
Only there as it was a family and friends beach day usually like it a bit quieter but the adults and children enjoyed the water sports especially the 30 something lads.Written 14 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
