Highly recommend Marcos and his team! The boat ride was the best part of the entire tour. - Amanda W11 contributionsIt was well organised, they pick you up from your hotel and take you to the docks, from there you go along the bridge to Cameo Island, once back we got on the boat and went to see the turtles, after that we went to the keri caves and got to have a swim in the sea and then went to turtle island and you can get food and a drink and have a swim or sunbathe, some went to look at the turtle nests, although they are protected so you can’t get up close. After that we went to the olive press factory. All the trip ran smoothly thanks to our guide Phillipos, this was the second time he had been our guide and we cant thank him enough! He was friendly and treated the group well and shared his knowledge of the island well, didn't feel rushed at the stops like with some trips. The tour started on time and ran smoothly all day.
We got to see Smugglers Cove, its been on our list for over 20 years....it doesn't disappoint...the view from the clifftop is stunning and then to see it up close from the boat was even better! The day was long but broken down into nice stops with good coffee and food visits to a local tavern, the service there was great too!
I feel very lucky to have been on this trip and it all topped our holiday off perfectly. We went to the beach of ship wreck, also to see it from the top of the mountain , as well as some other beach spots. The time was well managed. The highlight was swimming in the blue cave. Besides all the fun parts, he also took loads of beautiful pictures and drone videos for us, for free! He was a tour guide plus a private photographer! This 8+ hour trip lets you see most iconic and breathtaking things of Zakinthos, that you could never see only by your car or hiking. Well planed and organised route, nice small group, plenty of interesting stops inside the water (including swimming in the remote beautiful beaches) as well as explores on the land! The cherry on top was our tour guide George - a profesional, interesting, fun and sweet person to spend a day with, exploring the mysteries of Zakinthos and Greece. George knows the island inside and out, along with everyone on it, so he was able to tailor the tour perfectly to what we wanted to see and do. He also took fantastic pictures of us and shared fascinating stories about the island’s history and culture. The tour includes a 2 hour boat ride to shipwreck beach and ample opportunities to swim in the most beautiful clear blue waters. Don’t miss this as this is a one in a lifetime opportunity. There were high waves and the sea was a bit rough. The last part it was raining.
