What travellers are saying
- abigailduncanEdinburgh, UK16 contributionsThis beach is unbelievable. You MUST visit this when you go to Lefkas. There is a place to park your car for 7 euros ( which is reasonable in my opinion) if you want to risk it you can try to park just before this area but it’s super busy and doesn’t look like a good place to leave your car. Then there is a walk down to the stairs , then 400 steps down. It is just stunning taking in the view from all parts of the journey down. It is very hot on the beach so wear sun cream or take an umbrella and lots of water. Also consider the walk back up to your car, don’t take bags and bags as it is steep and long and windy. BUT 100% worth it, and it would be silly to suggest otherwise. I think it’s better to see this beach by car, as you can spend time at your own leisure and you get to see the awesome view from the road down to it and on the steps.Written 18 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lacramioara G11 contributionsThe beach is spectacular. The water is deep relatively close to the shore. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas. The road to the beach is narrow, but 2 cars can pass. On the way you will find a snack bar with freshly made food: Signature Taste.Written 1 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- agnesl50418 contributionsBreathtaking blue water and beautiful surroundings. Visited at the beginning of June and the water was warm, we really liked it!Written 5 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marilena11 contributionsNice beach, with sand and small pebbles, easily accessible by car. Very crowded with many beach bars with loud music. It's ok for younger people. Off season it must be amazingWritten 6 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Remus RDumbravita, Romania364 contributionsNarrow road to get there, small parking (not free) and than a 5 minute walk downhill to the actually beach.
A little hard to walk back up but, it worth the efort.
Lots of nice white small rocks, not so easy to enter and exit the water.
The view is spectacular!Written 24 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - B d AAthens, Greece760 contributionsA composite of eateries, fine swimming opportunities and a protected water inlet in essence in the SE of the island- actually the most interesting with the western cliffs. Wight (Isle of~) and Lefkada have the same rare and 'commensurate' in alliterative terms names. The Mikrow Gialos retails what all other equivalent beaches + have not retained
"This is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, but it is perhaps the end of the beginning."Written 18 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Gabriela24 contributionsIn my opinion it is a better beach than Vasiliki Beach because there are better facilities for relaxing at the beach, it is not just for water sports. There are parts of the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas - the cost is 7 euro. You need special shoes because the entrance to the water is with rocks.Written 7 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andrey ZGreece67 contributionsThe most well organised and accessible beach of Lefkada with msny tavernas and parking facilities. The price per umbrella and two sunbeds is 20€ including private safe box and 1.5 litre cold water.Written 26 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- l0ngj0Greater London, UK7 contributionsonly downside was the umbrellas from certain coffee places that front the road, which upset the harmony of the area..Written 1 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dim DeLSpaichingen, Germany194 contributionsThis beach is one of the best in Lefkada!! Go there and you won't regret it!
The compination of the water and the big stones are really stunning!Written 20 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - EfthimisSThessaloniki, Greece17 contributionsOrganized but with plenty of free space, very easy access. Mostly sandy beach and blue sea. Would definitely recommend visiting.Written 29 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ivan JLjubljana, Slovenia9 contributionsAmazing beach, great sea! Difficult access, but worthwhile to enjoy the unspoiled nature. Not so busy as other beached on western coast.Written 3 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Laura NBucharest, Romania428 contributionsTiny crowded beach. However, the water is just fine. Better than other beaches when it comes to water depth. I would consider this as a child friendly beach. There are no sunbends, bring a towel and an umbrella. It can be difficult to find a place to sit if you arrive at midday.Written 29 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Eleutheria33 contributionsIt not worth the effort to come here for the beach. It is shallow and sandy, yes, but it is not as beautiful or crystal clear as typical Greek beaches. It is a surfer's paradise of course, tourists mainly from the uk, Romania and Italy. Beach is mainly occupied by the surfing school's facilities, but there are some sun beds near ponti and a couple of tavernas. The areas for swimming are not clearly separated from the windsurfing areas, so it can be very stressful and even dangerous to swim. Extremely crowded in August. Only positive is the promenade behind the beach, where one may enjoy an evening walk.Written 29 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- iokasti_8Hamburg, Germany52 contributionsWe did not have the chance to visit the caves. The beach itself is a regular ionian island beach, with clean waters and restaurants. Children friendly. Very nice view of the moon.Written 3 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
