Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- dorna g26 contributionsGorgeous resort with beautiful beaches and small restaurants and cafes. The beach is mainly sand with a strip of stones into the water so river shoes advised. The resort can get really busy in the summer but October was perfect for me and warm enough. Felt very safe for a solo traveller. Small supermarkets selling anything you need including gifts. The green bus from Corfu terminal, port and town stop at the end of the resort which is perfect. Only €2.50 each way on a coach with air conWritten 19 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Thomas VOakland, CA18,518 contributionsIf you have the time to wander, you should just get lost on the narrow winding streets. Lots of atmosphere of a Greek town with.a Venetian flavor. Lots of souvenir stands that get a little tiresome, but you will find some quiet spots that are not crowded. You will probably climb a hill. And you will find a lot of food and coffee.Written 30 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ville82 contributionsWe rented a car from Gouvia with my girlfriend and drove this place for one day. It was worth of visiting for sure! Beautiful view and big beach for swimming.Written 3 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ella WilkieEdinburgh, UK10 contributionsLifeguards very nice, kind and on the ball. Great Hotel with great options for a gluten intolerance. Would highly recommend the hotel and for the waterpark i would recommend the Black Hole. Tornado and Catapult. 10/10 Hotel and waterpark would happily go again.Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AFD79Croatia56 contributionsWe had great time here! The beach is so beautiful, it was one of the best swims we had on Corfu - the sea gets deep quickly and the water was warm! There is a snack bar with gyros and some restaurants, but the best thing is the boat to Porto Timoni beach (few minutes of fun ride)!!!Written 29 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rosie C24 contributionsLovely to stroll around the gardens for an hour checking out the many neoclassical statues plus a spectacular view over Corfu Town. It's scenic even if you have no interest in Sisi and more interesting if you do. It's 5 euros entry at the moment. The house itself is closed for restoration and shows no sign of opening any time soon. There are maybe 2 flights of stairs to climb, it's not hard to get around. The cafe next door has Sisi themed books and souvenirs. Bus 10 takes about 25 minutes from Corfu Town, leaving from a stop near Sarocco Square (ask at the ticket office or look for the sign). This is a blue local bus - not the intercity KTEL green bus, though bus 10 does stop at the green bus terminal on the way. The bus goes to Achilleon as its main destination and has a screen inside showing current and upcoming stops, it was maybe 6 euro return. Also nice to get into the hills, it's quite green and cooler.than Corfu Town.Written 14 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA18,518 contributionsThe big castle next to the old town. At one time it protected the old city from attacks. Now it is available for your tour. Very medieval with a prominent position and great views of the harbor.Written 1 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Suzanne PMumbles, United Kingdom498 contributionsSo pleased we visited this little hidden gem with friends in the heart of Corfu Town. It's not very big and the guided tour only takes about half an hour, but so worth it.
The family apartment is all on first floor level and we had the most lovely young lady showing us around. She was very knowledgeable, able to answer any questions, and gave us plenty of time to take photos. The rooms are full of history and character.
Highly recommend a visit.Written 14 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - P-Didi2016London, UK14 contributionsLovely place to visit. Great views and photo opportunities.
Shoulders must be covered, I recommend to take your own cover ups, as the scarfs provided look a bit shabby.Written 15 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are three beaches total, but we chose the left side for swimming and relaxing. The sea is really crystal clear! We spent only an hour there but it was worth the visit!Written 29 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard H8 contributionsThe church is dedicated to one of the most popular in orthodox church saints - to the Saint Spyridon. His saint relics were delivered from Turkey. he is the patron of Corfu island. The Church of saint Spiridon was built in 15th century. Many people are coming to this church from many countries. They believe that the Saint Spiridon can help all people in their trouble situations and to heal from desiases. He is helpful to all people not only to christians.Written 23 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
