Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Jess & Josh🐚🩵Quintana Roo, Mexico518 contributionsWhat a gorgeous place to spend the afternoon !! The water is so clear (& very salty.. great for floating on your back🤣)
We just bought our own towels and set up base on the rocks, but you can also hire sunbeds if you would prefer to !! To be honest, we spent most of our time in the water, enjoying🩵
There’s also a restaurant @kounnabeachbar at the top.. we didn’t go in but it looked and smelt gorgeous🤤
From Faliraki, the journey was just over 10 minutes by taxi, costing between €14-€20. There is free parking if you have your own transport !! And then steps down to the bay⛱️
Add Anthony Quinn Bay to your Rhodes bucketlist !! 📍🇬🇷Written 11 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Usually I'd avoid a 'show off' busy beach. We were end of season and I dread to think what this beach would be like in the height as can only imagine how busy it can get. There is a bar for food and drinks which was good, can sit there or brought to sunbed. Sunbeds were comfortable, I think prices depend on when in the season you attend. Theres showers to rinse off, changing cubes, can get massage, toilets, water sports and parking. Theres a shop too.Written 23 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I last wrote a review in of the bay in 2021 only giving it 2 stars as it was being spoilt by overpriced sun beds and cabanas.
We visited the bay this year to see if it was the same. Very happily it had improved immeasurably! All the dreadful cabanas had gone (hopefully for good). Visitors were able to sunbathe on the beach at no extra cost.
The taverna had been beautifully upgraded and really makes the most of the wonderful setting. Food and services were also excellent, although more expensive than elsewhere. However, the extra cost is worthwhile.
So glad the bay is back as it used to be, but only better…Written 5 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of accomodation nearby.Written 29 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rob LeVelleLondon, UK20 contributionsLoved this place. Went two days in a row. Easy to get by with bus and ask at the facility where the return bus leaves from as it’s a different stop. 20 euros for two sun loungers and showers available. Suggest bringing own drinks and snacks.Written 6 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Saffra MCambridge, UK96 contributionsOne of the best beach days we had on Rhodes. Free parking and lots of tavernas to pick from for a spot of lunch. Worth walking over the hill to see prasonisi lighthouse but it's a fair walk in the heat so only good if fitness is good. The beach itself is gorgeous and sandy and the water is crystal clear, great for snorkeling as lots of fish especially if you snorkel along the edges of the bays where the rocks are. Lovely sun and beach day, worth the drive south.Written 15 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LoveTravelVenturesCork, Ireland2,580 contributionsFabulous beach with shower facilities, which is always a bonus, so good seeing this at beaches! Lovely sandy beach. There's also great snorkelling to be had at the far right-hand side where all the rocks are. I spotted so much fish, all sizes. My only regret was I didn't carry my gopro, but I just lived in the moment and enjoyed it.
Tip
No cafes or restaurants so come prepared with a picnic or snacks or if you can drive to Haraki Bay (very close), go there for lunch, plenty choice 👌🏾Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ciakalDublin, Ireland58 contributionsThe beach is overcrowded, it is too expensive but still better than most of the other beaches. Can always find something to eat with lots of different choices and something to do amongst all the chaos.Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - happywonderer17Aberdeen, UK237 contributionsGreat beach, clean and no pebbles! A good amount of space to be able to put down a towel if you don't want to pay for loungers. The sand is beautiful and warm water, a generally relaxing environment.Written 4 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anthony MBrisbane, Australia1 contributionRhodes town is quite busy and very touristy. Having a car would be an advantage for longer stays. We stayed in the town for a few days before moving to outer islands. Traganou beach is lovely and we enjoyed a basic lunch at reasonable prices. Two chairs and an umbrella was worth the 15 euros. A taxi cost us about 40 euro each way from the Old Town.Written 24 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SandroLondon, UK71 contributionsNice beach, if done as a part of a boat trip then you are set to have a great time as you will visit other beaches and bays just a recommendation!
We were lucky that this was one of the swimming stops on our trip but me personally i would not drive it all the way there on purpose, is just your typical Greek beach !Written 11 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Good place to snorkel also and nice cocktails and sunbeds that are further away from people.Written 13 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard Latham2 contributionsGlystra Beach Bar and all of the loungers are gone, destroyed in last years wildfires. This leaves a pristine Beach with clear water that is easily accessible but no facilities at all. Whilst the bar was quite good, food and lounger hire made this a slightly costly option. If you want a relatively quiet, beautiful and overall free Beach trip, consider here. Don't forget your drinks, not a lot of shade....Written 22 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
