Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very educational and at times emotional museum. To actually see where Anne Frank and the families were in hiding is very moving. I am unsure why other reviewers state they feel underwhelmed at 'the bare rooms', at the end of the tour in the museum section there is text that explains that the rooms were kept bare following the wishes of Anne Frank's father as this is what he had requested. There are also models of the rooms how they looked while the families were in hiding should people wish to see this
I would advise to book in advance as you cannot buy tickets on the day and as expected it does get booked up in advance
Would advise anyone visiting Amsterdam to make the trip here

Very much enjoyed the visit especially the fact the audio tour was included in our ticket. The Museum did provide an interesting outlook on Van Gogh's life and his paintings over his life. However, it was very busy and the flow of the galleries meant that there were bottle necks and at times difficulties in spending time to take in the artworks because so may people were "milling" about. Worth a visit but go early in the day.

I personally love walking around and this was a lovely place to walk around. The canals and the houses give you a cozy and pleasant feeling and the shops are interesting and cute

Visited here during our trip, having ordered the tickets online prior. We took the free ferry across and it's only a short walk from the ferry. The lookout has Europe's highest swing and provides great views of all of Amsterdam. You can have food and drink in the lookout bar/restaurant area. If the weather is decent you can access the rooftop where the swing is and have some beverages whilst you take in the view.

I was excited to see this on our trip, I’d seen the travelling version in Sydney a few years ago.

It’s great for curious minds, if you’re not into bodily functions…then maybe it’s not for you. I loved The whole exhibition and the layout. Leave over an hour for it, as it’s great to take your time around the exhibits.

You get a free body can at the end, which was good but only two of the four machines worked and they wouldn’t print out the results. We used the QR code instead.

Expansive park with lots to do--bike, walk, photography, play with the dog, children's playground, rose garden, birding, cafes and events. Clean and safe.

So much to take in at this wonderful gallery. It brilliantly displays modern art as a commentary on todays disfunctional society.

This was amazing! The audio guide was good, and the details about Rembrandt were very interesting.
The house itself is worth the visit too- it feels very authentic, and though it states that it's not filled with actual Rembrandt articles, it doesn't make it feel fake.
The entry fee is a little high compared to other places, but I really loved it, and am happy to have been.

A chapel in an attic? It will amaze you to see it, and learn its history.
Remember to check where the pulpit was kept- on the left side of the seats is a very small video showing where it is.
    The whole place was fascinating.

Really enjoyed my time here - There was no queue to get in if you have a digital ticket and you get a free (and very detailed) audio tour.

The tour focuses on the 1st floor, in the rooms surrounding the impressive Citizen's Hall which are all beautiful and well worth seeing if you're in the city.

My only critique would be I would have wanted to see more of the palace, however, I understand these are working buildings and that is not always possible.

It was just ok, because we expected more. Too much crowd. But at the end we are glad that we were there.

These trams are constantly crisscrossing the city. Definitely need a map for this. Don't forget to scan your card when you board and also when you get off.
