Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'm not entirely sure how much we learned because we were too busy taking it all in, but the experience was unique and entertaining. Tweens would definitely get a kick out of it, as well as older folks.

I toured this theater in May 2024 with my family. My teen, who is into design and architecture, enjoyed it. The only disappointment was that the exterior was covered in scaffolding.

Touring this art nouveau theater was a highlight to my Amsterdam visit. Be aware that there are 2 theaters near to each other. Our Uber dropped us off near the newer multiplex. We looked at a map and realized that the historical theater was on the same block, but just around the corner on a pedestrian street, directly east of the Bloemenmarkt.

€12 for adults gets you an audio tour (there was no offer of a beverage, and we didn’t ask). Per their website, self-guided audio tours are available on some mornings from 9:30 - 11:30. I would say to arrive as close to 9:30 as you can. You want to have enough time (1HR) to explore before they start showing films. If you arrive too close to 11:30, they could turn you away for lack of time. There was only one party ahead of us and one behind. We heard they turned someone away at about 11.

You are given a phone attached to a lanyard, with a set of headphones attached.
The tour is divided up into five or six short sections. There is a video component to the tour, but it was difficult to see on the small screen. The audio information was good, with facts I hadn’t known.

There are countless details throughout. Don’t miss the upstairs bathrooms and the VIP room.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of coming here and seeing the city from up above.
We took the escalator to each wide-open floor, got off and walked around and enjoyed each floor. Various shops, but lots of libraries and study places for students.
    Cinemas, exhibitions, museums, books.
AND of course, beautiful views of the city from the roof top.
This is a MUST to come here and see the city.

Absolutely the best experience that could be had. Before we did the photo shoot we were informed of the history of the Milkmaid project business. We all discussed our personal histories, which aided our comfort in what we were doing. For my wife and I it was an anniversary shot so it was even more personal for us. By the time we were finished we felt like we were long time friends. So this experience was warm, personal, caring, flexible, informed, intelligent, creative and perhaps most of all fun and unique. My wife and I were transported back to the 17th century. I am planning a trip to bring my entire family (brother, sisters, son, daughters, niece and nephews) for a massive photo shoot.

It is an amazing day out for the kids. We were there with friends, so 2 kids of 4.5 yr and 2 of 2.5 yr. Some attractions, like the walking dinos, might be a bit scary for the youngest, but there is plenty to do and discover for everyone. The kids enjoyed a lot also the minigolf. The park can get pretty hot, I would have appreciated some more water-games / small pool to refresh (there is only one water-game, which didn't look really any fun, plus it comes with extra cost.). The dino lunch box is also very nice.

    5/5 experience!

Peter was really quick to respond to an email booking request the evening before and when we arrived the next day he was super helpful and very friendly.

The session was lots of fun and reasonably priced and we left with both physical prints and digital copies which we are looking forward to displaying at home.

There was a mistake on the booking but the lady on reception was very helpful and let us all go together despite my son being 12 not 13. Got there half an hour before for the gear, which cost 12 euros to hire, very efficiently done. Our instructor Quintin was amazing. Friendly and encouraging, he understood my fears and never made fun of my many many falls!! The kids of course were streets ahead, soon going to the top and practicing turns, he came up with individual challenges for us based on our abilities. He knew exactly where I was going wrong, he was technical without being complicated. By the end I could get off the lift, snow plough and was starting to turn, which for me is a major achievement! The other parent in the group who was struggling improved vastly too! It was an all English group. Thanks so much!

This was the best place ever, though the line for the bathroom was super long and one of the guards chased a stealer, but kept hitting me instead, he said because I was Asian, how racist

The Alchemist is our best escape room experience so far! It has a stunning atmosphere, great decorations, unique and fun puzzles, and a quirky but beautiful story. If you try only one escape room in Amsterdam, this should be it.

The Vault feels like a real break-in with tense action and fun acting, and with a very modern look. Remember to have your story straight before you enter.

The Architect is a more traditional escape room, but definitely a beauty among its kind. The room has a great look, and the puzzles are well-thought out.

great local casino run by the state casino organisation directly belonging to the Ministerie of Justice. I consider this a mid-size casino. All tables and most games are present. Would be nice if there was slightly more people on some tables. On other tables the play is a bit slow.

Either way; if you life in the neighborhood or staying in one of the hotels nearby; visiting Haarlemmermeerse Bos is worth walking or running or even by bike. Walk around the small lake or cross over to Bigspotters Hill to get a nice overview over Haarlem, Hoofddorp and Schiphol.

An excellent and heart-piercing experience. The story and the quest itself impresses with its mysteries and technology. Immersion 100% The host knows when to help and when to scare you to death. I recommend it to everyone, it's another level of fun. Will definitely go with friends to other quests at the first opportunity. (Greetings from Norway and Ukraine).

Visited this place on a rather rainy day in autumn. Did take an umbrella which proved useful to cross an occasional open area. Loads of indoor stuff as well though.

The park consists mostly of scenes with leprechauns and play things for children. It's a nice display of creativity and even though some things look a bit old or could use a bit of fixing on the whole it's a beautiful place. Definitely worth the visit.

This is the best Escape room we have ever done - and we have done them all over the world. Actors are great, super scary and unexpected. Hard clues but challenging and rewarding. Highly recommend!!
