A great day trip from Zurich. Long day but worth the scenery and views. Really shows another side to this beautiful county.

It was a great trip but all details were not provided that part of the trip is self-guided. Tour guide was a great guy but bus driver can have a better attitude towards the passengers and a little pleasant.

AN UNFORGETTABLE LIFE EXPERIENCE! UNREAL!! Absolutely a must- do for any thrill seekers and nature lovers!! My boyfriend and I were visiting Switzerland for the first time and staying in Zurich and looked for an excursion with round trip transportation to one of the alps. This was HANDS DOWN the best choice. The view when we took the cable car up to the top of Mt First gave us chills seeing the incredibly tall mountains peeking out from the clouds. Getting to ride the mountain carts was our favorite and we wished we could have done it a second time but we chose to have lunch at the top of the mountain instead (which was also amazing! I recommend getting schnitzel and or the Swiss noodles) and ran out of time to do mountain carts a second time because by then the line was too long. We also did the Glider and the trotti bikes which were both also so thrilling! The best part was the view going down on the mountain carts and trotti bikes, it truly felt like a dream come true like we were in the Sound of Music and Julie Andrews was going to come out and sing “the hills are alive..” The tour guide was also very helpful in explaining the train situation, it was very easy to meet up with everyone and it all felt pretty seamless and convenient. This was 100% a highlight of our trip and we already want to come back and do it again!

This was a great excursion. Pedro is very knowledgeable, but he's low-key and relaxed. His assistant, Monica, is awesome. We are an older couple who needed some extra assistance and a watchful eye, which Monica graciously provided. We enjoyed the entire trip, but we had significant altitude sickness at the facility at the top of the Alps, so we weren't able to fully appreciate it. I wonder if altitude sickness is more prevalent at older ages? If so, there should be a warning about it here.

Jonas was our tour guide, the trip was seamless with train transfers. He was very knowledgeable and even was able to recommend a restaurant to go to in Zurich when we would travel there for the last leg of our trip. I highly recommend this triop the views were breathtaking!

With myswisspanorama tours we spent a wonderful day. We started in Lauterbrunnen and myswisspanorama tours showed us the most popular photo spots. I certainly would‘t have found them myself. After that we went on to Mürren. The view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau was breathtaking. We walked through the village and were able to shoot photos at great spots. It was an exciting and great customized trip. Thank you very much!

Although it was a nice town, I think visiting here in the Summer would be better. Lots of things were closed due to seasonal reasons. Second time going and still no joy - Summer is it for next trip!

Nice walking experience. The web was particularly fun and slightly scary for children. It gets really cold when you walk deep inside. The walkway is slippery so watch out. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Barbara was very knowledgeable during the whole trip it was nice to hear history about each small town we passed through. I decided to go straight to Grindelwald and go up Mount First to the Cliff Walk, it was easily the best view of the Swiss Alps, incorporating the mountains and snow and the small towns down below. I would definitely recommend this tour and what I did and also bring sunglasses.

We went to the Jungfraujoc and it was the pinnacle of our trip! I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Switzerland. The ice palace was super cool. We road the gondola. You define don’t want to miss it. FYI, make sure to bring warm clothes. I brought my snow boots, scarf, undershirt, some long johns (tops& bottoms) a hat, turtleneck, jacket, and windbreaker. I forgot the gloves.

This is a great option if you want an easily coordinated transportation trip and not stuck on a informational walking tour. They take you to Interlaken for 1 hr stop, then you proceed up the hill to Grindewald. At Grindewald you can go up to the highest point for an addtl $165 (seems steep). Several of us chose not to and so the guide gives you your train ticket of you want to go back down the hill to Interlaken and they tell you when and what time to meet for the end of the day pick up. We chose to eat lunch at Barry's (found on yelp) in Grindewald, highly recommend it, the cheese fondue was amazing! Then we snapped some picks, hopped on the train and headed back to Interlaken. There we booked a 15min helicopter ride for $190pp, but compared to the $165 rate, the helicopter will take you up to see the same spot and you'll have an experience of a lifetime. After that so some shopping, coffee and bus picks up at 545pm.

Thursday, April 28, 2022, 4 of us were booked on the Eiger and Jungfrau Panorama Day trip from Lucerne. Booking reference BR-852432478, Tour operator: Hans Meier.
    Our “tour guide” was Kid.
From the very beginning, we had a difficult time understanding him as he spoke very rapidly.
Unbeknownst to us, from the description on the web-site,when we booked this trip, we did not realize that after we got off the bus, it would be a self-guided tour. The majority of the people on the bus were continuing the tour as a guided tour.
Kid came to where our group was seated on the bus and proceeded to rapidly explain and position the map of the train route to ONE member of our group. When I asked him to show it to me as well, he handed me a map and AGAIN only explained the route and stops to one member, while the rest of us could not see or understand what he was saying.
After an hour or so, he returned to our group to inform us that the train would not be stopping at the 4 villages we had anticipated, due to a “problem” that was not explained to us.
Instead, we were only passing 2 stops that were strictly for skiers, with no villages to walk around, and ending in Kleine Scheidegg.
While we understood that the train situation was not the fault of VIATOR, we expressed our disappointment and asked if we could be included with the other group. Kid rudely replied” only if you pay an additional $120”.
We again stated that WE were not getting the full trip that we had paid for and asked him to contact his supervisor to see if we could be added to the other group, he said “contact VIATOR” and walked away.
He did absolutely NOTHING to offer any other options and had no compassion or concern for our situation.

If you read the reviews on Viator’s website, you will see that others had the same experience with this guide.
Scenery was breathtaking but Viator’s customer service was terrible. I contacted VIATOR with my concerns and received no response.
