Thus, my visit to the Puccini museum was a real pleasure and I recommend everyone, Puccini lovers and not, to visit there and learn more about this gifted musician and the art of opera in general.
The best dessert ever!! Puccini really made his mark on this town and this beautiful museum with a lifesize statue of the maestro himself in front is a must see if you visit Lucca.

Great museum with art, furniture, and fabric reflective of Lucca spanning several centuries.
The Mansi Museum is simply incredible: full of beautiful works of art and furniture that you can tell has been loved and used to the fullest.

Following our visit to Lucca Cathedral we took the opportunity of visiting the cathedral museum, seeing a number of great items of value and antiquity.
As the cost of the Duomo and this museum equals the combined ticket which includes the nearby Santi Giovanni and Reparata you may as well get the combined ticket.

This regional museum is a gem.
Small but brilliant museum.

After a visit to Palazzo Mansi, (both museums available on a combined ticket), which wasn’t as good as it could have been; we approached Villa Guinigi with a little apprehension.
The collection is housed in a lovely historic building and the quality of the items on display would rival anything in the more famous museums in other cities.

All that aside, probably one of my favourite museums in Italy.
We found similar museums in Florene, Pisa and Sien?

The museum is located inside a beautiful old church, and although they fit a lot into one room, it feels spacious.

The museum is very modern, a beautiful restoration of the executioner’s house.
I didn't read anything about this little museum in our guide book, but we happened upon it while walking.

This museum is set inside a beautiful little church, which is itself one reason for visiting.
We just happened across this small and very moving museum in an old chapel.
