Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic escape from crowded Florence! Amazing view, beautiful nature. Entrance tickets costed 10€ per person. I would also recommend to visit a small café and enjoy amazing view from there. Very enjoyable time

My favourite from our Florence trip. Beutiful interior and garden, nice staff, and the entry plus tour guide was free. Very much recommended!

Free entry. Just next to Piazzale MicheJlangelo. Appreciate the Japanese elements added to this garden. Cozy enough for escaping the crowd and enjoying the commanding view of Florence.

I couldn't wait to return to Florence to see the Gardens after an ankel injury stopped me last time. It was worth the wait, my son and I did it early in the morning while it was cooler, and we walked every path and enjoyed all the sculptures, water fountains, so much to see and enjoy, take some water, maybe even a picnic so you don't rush. Great half day activity. Mr 28 and me (56) loved it and were so pleased we did it.

This place is just picture postcard amazing in the evening. It was the most incredible venue for a wedding reception dining under the stars, dancing inside and enjoying drinks overlooking the countryside. If you are looking for somewhere to hold your wedding reception then look no further, this is it.

We were on a day-tour of 3 Medici villas, which is pushing things if you're from Perugia, but the gardens of Villa Castello are impressive and it's easy to imagine what they probably looked like in their heyday. As someone else noted this villa is usually coupled together with a visit to Villa Petraia distant more or less 2 kilometers. Unfortunately it's uphill ALL the way and frankly we're not getting any younger. Our tour was running late (don't they always?) and any form of transportation would have been MOST welcome as well as getting us to the next villa on our time schedule. The custodians at Villa Petraia were impatient and very put out to overrun our time limit.

Only open few weeks a year - this not very wellknown little garden is definitely worth a visit for its fabulous display of Iris (it's for free - but please consider a little donation!).

No exotic plants to see when I went but the park was lovely and quiet and had a lovely chilled afternoon relaxing there away from all the noise of the centre. Great little hideaway green space to take a moment to switch off in between exploring the city. Lots of nice shady areas to keep cool as well. Would have been 5/5 if there had been plants in the greenhouse part

The public is allowed in once an hour on the half hour i. e. 10.30 11.30 etc.
The interior is stunning. It is one of the most beautiful villas I have ever seen. The gardens are laid out beautifully but not much in bloom this time of year.

Lovely gardens for a relaxing stroll.

There are some beautiful trees, ponds and flowering plans in the gardens. It's not the most polished of venues, but it is nice place if you're looking for decent walk outside of the main tourist attractions.

This must have been quite a place when it was built. It's run as a venue for weddings etc now and could do with a little TLC in the garden. But that said, it is magnificent. Take care when driving up the hill to get to the Villa, the road is a nightmare with few passing places. Tip: pay a little extra to access the Villa for even better views and photo opportunities.

You'll feel like you're not in the city when you stroll through this lovely park. The artwork is gorgeous and hidden around each corner. It's a lovely picture spot and break from the crowded city.

Stumbled across this. Fantastic little garden trying to put a small green little community into Firenze.

Whilst exploring a bit to the northern side of Florence we ended up here. It's nice enough but nothing spectacular by any means. Typical park type area with cyclists, runners and a few groups & couples sitting on the grass surrounding the large pond area. It was nice to see the young ducklings though, about 20 of them!
