Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

    Go and have breakfast here!

This market is full of lovely produce and upstairs are eateries with delicious local foods. Well priced and lovely for breakfast or lunch. Breakfast for 4 with drinks and patisseries cost around €20, which for Florence is excellent. Enjoy!

Leonardo is so nice and helpful! I needed a new pair of shoes very bad as the ones I was wearing were very worn. He not only helped me find a pair perfect to my size and style but also did a quick refurbishment on the pair I was wearing and they looked much better after. Very happy to have come here and can’t recommend enough!

Jimmy's is the best. We went to all the fancy leather places in Florence like Michelangelo etc., and honestly Jimmy's is better. The designs were better (in my opinion) and the leather is just as good if not better. The grain on the jackets we got is just beautiful. Prices are higher than the cheap stalls near the square but that should be expected for leather of this quality. The price I paid was comparable to the "clearance" rack at Michelangelo and I got a much better jacket from Jimmy's. Great fit and made from a really cool full grain buffalo leather. Save yourself some time and just go straight to Jimmy's!

Florence holds close to 80% of all the Renaissance art in the world. But that’s not all the art that lives in Florence. The city holds a number of current day artists that bring the Italian flavor, warmth, historical context, and vigor to their work. Roberto and Roman are those types of artists and they’re full of life, humor and talent. I’ve been to their studio a couple of times and enjoyed their company and their art immensely. Once your eyes are opened to their work you’ll see it all over Florence. a pair of brothers that are making their mark on Florence today. I’ll definitely go back. Visit if you can, it’s worth the trip.

We visited this wonderful shop with our private walking tour guide. We're so glad she introduced us to this stunning workshop! The artisans were welcoming and friendly and showed us how they create their unbelievable works of art.

The showroom is like a museum of the highest quality craftsmanship. What a treat to experience this rare artform that deserves preserving.

We happened upon this place but had read a bit about Clet having seen his street sign art around town. Our first view was the Hammer and Sickle sign that was a Dead End sign. We thought it was so unusual and after a bit of Googling we figured out that it was street art. When we were on our way to the Piazza de Michelangelo we just happened upon this store- I thought it was just a gift shop but turns out it is his studio. And I just realized after getting home that Clet himself was in the studio that day just sitting at his desk in the back- we didn't even know what he looked like so didn't realize it was him! The store has a good selection of magnets, stickers and stuff that provide a fun memory of our trip!

You know how when you go to a great museum sometimes you wish you could buy a ancient trinket? Well here's your chance. At least it's a chance to see how much an antique helmet or sword or gun would set you back. It's so great. Tiffany lamps? yes Beautiful china? Yes 2 stores run by great people. We'll go back. And we even bought something so it's not too outrageous.

You can find a wide array of clothing and household goods there at really reasonable prices. Clothing in abundance. Be aware you won't find high fashion designer clothes but you will find an interesting array of really inexpensive clothing - shirts, sweaters, jackets, socks, etc. I was disappointed, however, that the vendors begin packing up around noon, particularly if it is raining. Plan to be there early.

I walked over to this place to bring something for my daughter. I waiting in line outside. Once inside it looks cool. It’s supposed to be the oldest perfume store in the world. I bought her a bottle after smelling a lot of them. It was interesting.
