    Fun and informative trip to Etna
    Pietro was the most engaging and informative guide for our little group. He led us through the history of Etna and it’s eruptions, whilst at 2000m and also to a gorgeous view of Etna, it’s craters and a lava cave. The cable car does go higher, but it’s barely noticeable when you have such an engaging guide and a 4x4! It was topped off by a tasting session of local farm produce. Highly recommended!

    Review of: Etna Morning Trip
    Fantastic guide, informative and breathtaking views!
    What a fantastic morning discovering all there is to know about Mount Etna. We were picked up from outside our hotel by a marvellous guide, Daniel, who was warm, friendly and knowledgable.

    The sun was out and we were worried about being too warm, but we were glad of our extra layers as there is a brisk wind as you move further up the mountain.

    Every part of the trip was fascinating and well thought out and we thoroughly recommend taking this tour!

    Review of: Mt. Etna and Taormina village full day tour from Catania
    Fun day with a fun group of people!
    I had a great time on the Etna and Taormina tour. Giuseppe was funny, informative and took great care of us. I was travelling solo but he made us feel like a big family during the trip. We also went to a bee farm where we tried difference local snacks and honeys. I loved the small town of Taormina, I wish i had a full day there. Thanks Giuseppe!

    Review of: Etna Countryside Food and Wine Lovers Tour (Small Group)
    The only wine/food tour to do!
    We booked a tour for 4 people via the website. It was easy to book and Massimo emailed us straight away to confirm.

    In the day we were picked up at 10am by Antonio who was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable and told us on the drive to the winery about the landscape etc.

    We drove for about 45 minutes and learnt so much about the local area.

    Upon arrival at the Gambino Vineyard we were welcomed with cold glasses of white wine and a talk by Nino. He was really nice and very funny too. We had a short tour of the cellar and learnt about the wine making process, grapes etc.

    We had a lunch prepared with local fresh foods and wine tasking. The wine was amazing…so much we ordered lots to be sent to the UK!

    After photos etc we drive to a local farmhouse restaurant where we had a lunch again with local foods and more wine! Food was delicious and definitely some of the best local produce we have tasted.

    After this we returned to our hotel.

    Overall this was a fantastic day and we have made some great memories.

    This tour was great! Our tour guide Mariarita was funny and informative. Our driver navigate some hair raising bends with nerves of steel! This tour did not disappoint.

    Etna and Winery tour from Taormina, Sicily
    I would highly recommend this tour. We were picked up on time from our hotel by our guide Rosy together with driver Alessandro in a nice car. We were very happy with Rosy and her friendly way of making sure we saw/experienced everything on the Etna segment. We took the cable car up to 7000 ft and got some amazing pics of Etna and the craters there. Decided not to take the 4x4 to the 9000 ft level because of time.

    The Gambino Winery was an excellent experience as well. Beautiful place and great wines, very hospitable people. We ended up buying a case to be shipped back to the US.

    Amazing day.
    I’ll start first with apologies and gratitudes to Nadia. A more understanding and helpful person I’ve yet to meet. After not reading their location correctly with us staying in Palermo (3hrs away) Nadia made amazing efforts to ensure we got to go on The Godfather tour. An absolute must for any fan of Francis Ford Coppola and Mario Puzo’s masterpiece.
    The tour guide Marco De Luca was a delight. So well informed on the films and the locales visited. He brought us apples and lemons from his garden. A very nice touch.
    The driver we had from Palermo, Rosario, who ended up joining us on the tour. Was a gentleman too. He may have missed his real calling as a driver for Ferrari. 😂
    I can’t recommend this tour highly enough.

    One of a kind experience
    Our guide Nando was excellent! He was kind enough to pick Us up at our accomodation in the morning. He was nice, attentive and patient with the group the whole time. He planned the whole day near Catania: in Noto, in Ortigia, Siragusa, Neapolis. He speaks fluent english and spanish and he payed attention to repeat everything in all languages. He shared a good amount of knowledge about everything on the road. He even showed Us a great local restaurant for lunch and left enough free time for Us in every town. All in all it was a one of a kind experience. It would be a pity to miss it.

    Review of: Cooking class in Taormina With Chef Massimo
    Informal, fun and Informative Sicilian cooking class in a scenic setting.
    This class is so much fun you forget your are learning! Chef Massimo imparts a wealth of culinary knowledge in a humorous non threatening way. His “kitchen” is on a hilltop overlooking the sea with an outdoor terrace perfect for enjoying wine or fresh juice and the results of your cooking - several courses of fresh food. This was a perfect way to spend the day. I enjoy cooking and cook at home “from scratch” all the time. I still learned new things during this class. I highly recommend this class for anyone who enjoys food and cooking.

    Enjoyable and luxurious
    I highly recommend this tour, which was a hassle-free and thoroughly enjoyable experience. My mum and I had wanted to visit the valley of the temples but were not confident driving in Sicily. I am so thankful that we found this tour. Salvo picked us up from our hotel punctually (in a Maserati, no less!) and took us to the valley of the temples. It was a very smooth drive and he patiently answered our questions along the way. After that he took us to a nice seafood restaurant for lunch, followed by a trip to the Turkish steps to admire the rock formations. He was professional throughout, and a very skillful driver. The tour was timed perfectly, and we had more than enough time at each stop. Two thumbs up!

    Sara, our guide and Giacomo, our driver, we’re fabulous. Sara has a passion for telling travelers about Sicily and it comes through in her knowledge. Our driver Giacomo expertly weaved his way through the small streets and made the trip very relaxing. This was a last minute booking for us and was worth every cent. Mt Etna was awe inspiring and Sara was able to paint a wonderful picture of the evolution of the mountain. Taormina was breathtaking. Again Sara knew the history and gave us great suggestions for lunch.
