    Review of: Horse Trekking Sicily
    A memorable adventure
    My friend and I did a 3h ride with Julia, and we had an amazing time! She is really experienced and is both a great guide and a great person. Both me and my friend had some previous experience at riding, so we were not complete beginners, but we were still quite inexperienced (I never had any lessons, I just did some rides with guides but only got taught the very basic), however Julia taught us so many things along the way that it completely changed our experience, she made us feel very confident and comfortable by the end of the ride and as she noticed our progress she increased the pace to make it more fun and we even did some galopping at the end. She never pushed us beyond our capabilities though, so I always felt safe. Her horses are also very well tamed and sweet, and each with a different personality which makes the ride all the more interesting and funny. Add to that a magnificent landscape through the sicilian mountains and a great banter with Julia, and you'll have 3h feel like 3min. I left the place wishing to start riding lessons so that I could come back and do even more interesting treks!

    Review of: Ride Sicily
    Amazing experience with amazing people, horses and landscape!
    I booked a full day excursion with Ride Sicily and rode with Lizzie and Alex from their base at Agriturismo Casalvecchio Geraci up to the wonderful hill-top village Geraci Siculo. The way led us through impressive and wonderful nature – small hidden paths and open spaces. We passed great historic architecture and even rode through the narrow medieval streets of Geraci Siculo up to the ruins of the Castello dei Ventimiglia. Lizzie and Alex are absolute horse experts as well as very knowledgeable and pleasant guides. I learned about many different aspects of Sicily - archaeology, history, nature, wildlife, tradition, food, current developments, … Admiration in silence is likewise shared 

    The horses were in perfect shape, always confident and relaxed. I am an intermediate rider and absolutely trusted my horse Apollo with steep climbs or down the slope. The whole day I felt comfortable, at ease and in the best hands. I recommend Lizzie, Alex and their horses and will definitely come back for a trail rather sooner than later!

    Review of: Cofano Trekking Horse Riding Sicily Occidental
    Riding tour with 7 year old daughter
    We booked a 2 hours tour with Gianni in Mt. Cofano region. I and my seven year old daughter are not experienced riders, but everything went well and Gianni did a great job as an instructor. The horses are well trained and skilled. The setting of the tour was really nice and we had some beautiful views.

    Review of: Sicily Horse Tours
    Best part of our trip to Cefalú
    My wife and I had an amazing experience here. Luciano was kind and friendly and picked us up on time, just as he said he would. He made transport to and from Cefalú comfortable and easy. Once there, Marylouisa and Paola we’re perfect guides! And of course, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how awesome and friendly Stella and the mighty Romero were (the horses)!

    If you’re in the Cefalú area and you are looking to ride horses through some of the most beautiful country on earth and with super knowledgeable and friendly guides (and beautiful horses!), this is your place. HIGHLY recommend. Thank you Luciano, Marylouisa, Paola, Stella, and Romero - we hope to come back soon!

    Review of: Fontana Trekking
    Lovely horseback riding experience
    Great horseback riding experience. The owner is a great guide. We had a lovely day exploring the nature reserve. We would definitely recommend Fontana Trekking. The home-made wine and Olive oil are definitely worth a taste.

    Great experience with guide Salvo , who was very patient to explain everything and get the most out of the experience. Nice ride around the area where wild fennel and oranges characterize the landscape. Calm reliable friendly horses. Highly recommended

    Review of: DREAMING SICILY
    Amazing Mt. Etna Sunset Tour
    This was a wonderful small group tour. Claudio our guide was full of information and really passionate about volcanoes. Hiking boots and jackets were provided, as well as some wine and Catania street food at the end of the hike. I recommend long socks if you have them. The day of our tour was sunny and warm so the snow was really soft. With some of the steps, I would sink into the snow up to my thigh but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not recommended if you have any mobility issues as stated in their description. Due to low season, and afternoon tour time, we had the volcano almost to ourselves. This was amazing! So peaceful with fantastic views of Catania! We were not able to visit the cave due to safety reasons but Claudio made up for it by taking us on a longer hike. Thank you Claudio for making this an enjoyable experience!

    Sicilian adventure
    Eduardo was a fantastic host and managed to accommodate my booking at short notice. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the local area made for a truly unforgettable adventure. I highly recommend the horse riding and a visit to the Gole dell’Alcantara! See you next year.

    Review of: Sicily Horse Riding
    A highly enjoyable hack to the top of a volcano
    Alessandro was quick to respond to questions during the booking process. The horses were reluctant to 'go to work' at first but proved themselves to be sure-footed on the at times rocky path which slowly wound up Mt. iIice. This was definitely an intermediate and above ride with well-looked after horses (Maya and Victoria) that needed a firm hand, but were reliable and had some life in them. Alessandro took plenty of pictures and sent them soon after we were finished. I recommend Sicily Horse Riding to anyone who want a real horse experience in this rugged and beautiful part of the world.

    Review of: The Island of Wonders | Sicily and Etna Excursions
    Family etna excursion
    We did the family etna experience at a very reasonable price of 100€ for 2 adults and 2 children. It was a great adventure and our guide Salvo was very informative, friendly and great with the kids. Highly recommended!

    Highly recommend!
    We loved our horse ride. Our communication with Sabrina was quick and efficient - she was very kind. Our guide, Alessandro, was great. We did not speak the same language, but he made us feel comfortable on the horses as beginners and took us on an amazing ride with spectacular views of Etna. We highly recommend!!

    Review of: Cala dell’Arena Horse Camp
    Awesome trail ride and way to see coast of Macari
    I did a sunset trail ride with the crew from Cala Dell'arena and I can't recommend it enough! Horses are super chill and well behaved, the scenery and beachside ride is breathtaking, the barn itself is really beautiful and well maintained, and the trail guides are very professional and kind! You can tell the horses are well cared for and I would highly recommend. If you're looking for a creative way to explore and sightsee the coast of Macari, this is a solid way. I would also recommend going up to the villa restaurant/bar after the ride and getting a mojito while enjoying the stunning panorama and view from the veranda.. solid move, Nico is a great bartender. Thank you to Ludovica and Alessandro and all the folks at the barn for a great ride out!!
